App will now no longer find any of the tuners on the Cuadro northe DVR. Router can easily connect to Quattro and DVR via direct LAN IP’s. But not the app.Surely wish I had known, now there is no way to go back to previous version and new update DOA.
Never connects on iPhone

Tv app works ok. Always seem to get different controls every time though. Sometimes I can pause live tv and sometimes I can’t. If I can pause it doesn’t give me the option to record. If it gives me the option to record I can’t pause. Also the phone app can never find the device.

app update 5/20 is again able to find my tuners, but "mute" does not work. What else doesn't work? Seriously?

Thank you for your hard work fixing the app after the recent iOS update. It is working again. Excellent job. I wish that you also make recording option available on appleTV as well. I hope it will be soon.

The HDHomeRun hardware works great … with the PC and Mac Software, and with 3rd party apps like Plex and Channels. The iOS HDHomeRun software doesn’t work well. On my iPhone it fails to register in the privacy settings so I can’t grant it access to my local network, and therefore can’t even use it to connect to the hardware. Deleting and reinstalling did not fix the issue. On my iPad And Apple TV’s there is noticeable audio lag … but the PC, Mac and 3rd party apps work fine. Hopefully their own app gets better in the future. For now I would look to other apps to support your HDHomeRun device.

Changes made to the app are completely untested before going to the App Store… Again, (this happens frequently ) a recent update has completely failed resulting in a completely useless app.
App stopped working after update

I have been using the app for 2 years and Apple TV app for a couple months. Today a update occurred and I can no longer get TV on iOS app. I tried to delete and reinstall, not luck. Tried test flight of another version no luck. This was such a good idea but given you can’t watch on iPad the hardware is useless.

Works with Quattro - but iPhone PQ is 1/2 or 1/4 resolution

For some reason on the iPhone the resolution is 1/2 or 1/4 actual. It makes the picture look blocky. It shows up great when I use Plex instead of this app.

Revised 7/15/2021. Latest update - the app is more stable now. Duplicate audio problem has been resolved. However surround sound is still mapped to the wrong channels. It’s never been particularly intuitive and or user friendly - but the hardware has been very solid. The latest update is an absolute mess when implemented with a surround sound AVR. - Duplicate audio - producing a noticeable lag - Constant freezing - requiring app restart - and sometimes an ATV restart. - surround sound mapped to the wrong channels. It’s maddening- considering that the channels app works perfectly. Common dev team. Get it together.
