It never works. Will turn on heater or Polaris and it always kicks off or never starts. Now it is stuck on yesterday’s date. We have tried restarting/resetting with no luck.

Quite frankly the system is just so outdated now that it will take 10 minutes to respond to a button on the app. Makers of this app in the equipment should be fired

I think this app was written by a high schooler in an "intro to coding" class. C'mon Hayward spend more than $100 for a professional working app. The UI is terrible. You can't look at the spa settings without turning it on. Really? There was absolutely zero thought put into this. And, it really wouldn't take much to fix it, since the basic functions seem to work most of the time. Update: now the app will not communicate with our pool at all. It’s said “lost link” for over a month. There is absolutely no support either thru the app or anywhere online. This company is a joke.

This has been a poor app from the start. The transfer of data, and the replied confirmation is poor. You have to repeatedly tap the icons to get them to “take”. Sometimes as many as 7 or 8 times.

This may be the worst app for anything I’ve ever used. Not even remotely an upgrade from the panel on my wall. Very disappointing.

Not worth having

We continue to have issues with this app. In order to turn our spa and heater (or lights, etc…) on we have to continually hit the button as it cycles off after just a few seconds. Then, miraculously, it stays on. So unreliable and frustrating. We have reached out to Hayward regarding the problem with no response. We regret getting this system for our pool and will never recommend it.

This app works sometimes, but more often than not, I press a button to turn off the spa heater, for example, and it shows that it is off for about 5 seconds and then reverts to ‘on’. I do this repeatedly, but it only selectively works after repeated attempts over 10+ minutes

We’ve had this for 3 years, the frustration isn’t worth it. For the amount of money you shell out to have to constantly close and re-open and hope to see your button presses took. We no longer count on it working as ADVERTISED. It’s not even 50/50 that it will take a command, we used to bet each other if it took and that we could actually get home to the hot tub running and ready, we know it’s gonna let us down. I can’t even in good conscience recommend the system. Not that this review will help because the developers no longer review and respond nor develop. Also, no one is likely going to read these review before they buy the unreliable system. If I could give negative 100 stars I would.
