App update????

Leadeli

When will this app be updated? Last update was over a year ago. I am having so many issues with the app. It won’t let me select the spa, nor will it show the water temp, won’t let me select anything in the menu. I have even logged into my account from the desktop, and still unable to do anything. If we want to make changes we have to go out to the actual box outside (which we keep locked) to turn the spa on, set the temp then when we are finished we have to turn everything off from the box and lock it all back up.

Clunky app

Changing settings in the app is slow. Feedback sometimes does not happen. Every command goes to the remote server and it can take forever or never to be reflected on the app screen. It may say the filter is off but it is actually on for example. The remote server was down for days and once it came up, the app has missing information (indicated as “<null>” on each line. This has been the condition since. All attempts to contact Hayward support have not been successful. There is nobody who answers any web requests for support for this or any other pool equipment problem. The app support link in the App Store just takes you to the Hayward commercial site without any way for the app user to get any help.

Zero stars if I could

DisappointedByHayward

Hayward should be embarrassed to put their name on this, unless this is their quality standard. More than 50% of the time the app does not respond when buttons are pushed and now the app reads null for all entries. Wish I could get my money back. Not purchasing Hayward equipment of any kind ever again.

Poor Design and Infrequent Updates

TECHGuyInFLA

Easily the worst app I own. The design is clunky and outdated. Worse yet, Hayward seems indifferent to the many design flaws. May I suggest you guys hire a young programmer who is hungry for work. A teenager could develop a better app than this poor excuse for a user interface! Finally, the latest IOS update rendered your app COMPLETELY useless. Most every field that is supposed to have data now contains <Null>. Come on guys, you can do better than this. Maybe it’s time to switch away from Hayward products altogether.

Worst pool app ever

vkap922

Using this app brings me so much frustration!! I am a property manager for Vacation rentals so I turn the pool on remotely for guests. Most pool apps I use- a simple click of a button. This one takes about 30-40 minutes to turn the hot tub on. There’s always a lag and it just never works properly. You would think the developers would work on providing updates considering the amount of people who complain about it.

Worthless, nonresponsive and “null”

PositiveOnes

It worked for a few months and then all I see is “null” on every line when I sign in. You would think that a major corporation like Hayward could hire someone to fix their app.

Horrible

Dddcccc

Disconnects all the time when you’re able to get on

Worst app I have ever used

tibush2022

Before the required update I had a 50/50 shot at it working. Now that I have the updated app it works at best 5% of the time.

Using it but having all the problems that everyone is reporting

FunkyMonk93

2022 Update: Now that the app requires iOS 13, I cannot use any of my old iOS devices with this app. So essentially you are now requiring me to go buy an Aqua Pod. Great. 0 stars if I could. 2019 Review: I am able to use the app and able to deal with the delays and button retries that everyone is complaining about. However I just discovered a new bug that I am hoping can be fixed. I recently configured my system to take advantage of the “Spillover” option. So now, my app shows buttons for Pool / Spa / Spillover. When I press the “Spillover” button, it always turns on the “Spa”. I then have to press the “Spillover” button a second, sometimes third time before “Spillover”, is activated. Hoping that you will be able to address this!
