Big Fish & Elephant Games make a great team! Love the game and settings. Puzzles are good and the HOP’s are somewhat challenging. Great storyline and spookiness factor. Love it!
Same old...same old

I'm sorry to say I couldn't even finish the free trial. Everything looks the same. I've seen the creepy house/hotel, the car trunk, the garden, the fireplace...all of it before in different games. It's stagnant, in terms of any modicum of originality. Guess I'll be on hiatus until the next Enigmatis, or until I see a glimpse of originality.

I had to double check if I bought the game by mistake. I'm still playing. Also when I see Elephant games I know it's usually darn good. I'm just not crazy about blood. ?
Outlines

I played part of the free trial. What I have played of the game is good; however, there are outlines around many objects in most of the scenes. These outlines are so numerous that they clutter up the screen, distract from the gameplay by highlighting things that are supposed to blend in, and give away the location of objects in hidden object scenes. The gameplay itself is just fine, but the outlines put a damper on things by taking some of the mystery and horror out of this mystery and horror game.

All of these games are the same- nice graphics but everything else is boring. even this one from Elephant, and they tend to be the better ones these days...

Sigh. Despite the clear, crisp graphics, the haunting themes and so much potential.....it falls flat. While playing the trial it's just not up to the standard I'd expect. It's just no where NEAR as challenging as I'd expect and definitely not worth more than $2.99.....if that. Sorry. Issues: 1) Going back and forth between scenes just to retrieve the items? Really? BORING. ? 2) Painting the picture: normally one of my favorites, I became frustrated when trying to color the smaller objects, it wouldn't recognize it and recolored the adjacent larger area - enough that I almost skipped it. ? 3) I was excited when I saw the collection of six keys .....only to be let down that there WAS no mini- game.....it just opened. BORED. ? 4) Its a lot of running around without any clear game plan and lacking any excitement or well thought out mini- games. I'll pass.
