Expected MUCH more from ?Elephant Games...? – Haunted Hotel: The X Review

Sigh. Despite the clear, crisp graphics, the haunting themes and so much potential.....it falls flat. While playing the trial it's just not up to the standard I'd expect. It's just no where NEAR as challenging as I'd expect and definitely not worth more than $2.99.....if that. Sorry. Issues: 1) Going back and forth between scenes just to retrieve the items? Really? BORING. ? 2) Painting the picture: normally one of my favorites, I became frustrated when trying to color the smaller objects, it wouldn't recognize it and recolored the adjacent larger area - enough that I almost skipped it. ? 3) I was excited when I saw the collection of six keys .....only to be let down that there WAS no mini- game.....it just opened. BORED. ? 4) Its a lot of running around without any clear game plan and lacking any excitement or well thought out mini- games. I'll pass.
