Irritating Sending
Yea it’s fine,sure. I text my friend on it a lot, but it literally decides to work whenever it feels like it which is annoying. My internet will work on any other device and app yet randomly when I try to use this app it wants to not send my messages and just say “an error occurred”, which I don’t know why because my internet is fine on ANY other app. It just does this randomly and it’ll stay like that for almost an entire day and night. I’m not sure if this is a bug but it’s EXTREMELY irritating.
Something went wrong

Continually crashes with a pop up that says Something went wrong when you try to log in. When you try to make a new user and password on the website it works it takes you to the app where it won’t let you sign in. You cannot login through Facebook or through Apple. Fix this app because it’s annoying that my job uses this app to update staff on picking up days and I can’t see it because I can’t log in. This app is not user-friendly.
buggy lately so it’s unusable

no one can add people to our groups anymore, and share invite links just give errors. we’ve tried all the trouble shooting tips as well as the desktop web app version. it’s kind of hard to use an empty group chat when no one can join it. I submitted this bug last week and never got a response :(

Messages not being received or going through properly

Messages aren’t popping up. And when they do, I get multiple at once. So everything I’m saying makes no sense in the conversation thread. This is annoying please fix it.

Love this app, used it for years, but please give us the option to delete chats and still receive messages from them in the future. Also, pinning chats would help find the ones we need easier! Please!!!
Can’t Upload Videos

This app is garbage. I’ve been using it for a couple years because my family doesn’t want to change to messages. I can’t upload a video longer than 30 seconds. It will load for 15-20 minutes then just say failed. The app is up to date and it just doesn’t work. I hate this app.

Only using this because it's the go-to for college class chats, but I'm not a fan. There's no way to mass delete contacts. GroupMe adds contacts on its own, just because we'd been in a group together once. Once you add a profile photo, you can only replace it, not delete it. There's no option to block private messages. Lots of bots spamming you with phishing links. I look forward to the day I delete this app from my phone once and for all.
Downloading PDFs

I’ve been using Groupme for years and love low easy it is the share information with classmates. However, recently I haven’t been able to download PDFs. Groupme will allow me to view, but I can’t download unless I'm on my computer. This is a pain given I use my tablet a lot for school. Idk if this occurred with the newest update, but it’s making sharing school work difficult. Otherwise this app was perfect.
