Бред какой-то . Не могу прикрепить контакт к группе . Никаких пояснений нет

I'll give this app 5 stars but honestly, I think there are major changes to be made. When I message people on groupme, the app marks my messages read and many of my contacts say the same. Even when I haven't read the message (or opened it), it marks it read without permission Secondly, it doesn't allow me to mark the message unread ... Sometimes, I want to respond later, so I read the message but I don't want to forget about it, but the app does not allow for unread options.

No innovation for users in years

It saddens me to write this review. “Post it in the GroupMe,” and “did you check the groupme,” are phrases often used by my closest group of childhood friends. It is the digital glue that has held us together as we left home for college and moved to cities around the world thereafter. We have had ours running since 2013, and it saddens me to say that on this day, it may be coming to an end. It’s not for a lack of patience, but we simply can’t wait any longer. Would it kill the product teams at groupme to consider a Twitter, YouTube or Google integration? What about maps for sharing locations of an event that brings us all together. Leaving GroupMe means living the digital trail of our decades long friendship - so many photos and memories exist in our groupme, but the frustration of using it might not make that glue sticky enough. I hope for better

Need upgrading

this app needs to be updated and besides that why is it so difficult after starting a group and sharing profile information it gives the other person the hardest option to join the group. GroupMe was good years ago but now it has diminished in upgrading and improving altogether. I’m not satisfied

GroupMe is amazing! It helped me and my dance class talk stay connected and we remind each other the moves! I totally suggest it! It works for anything! This is one amazing app

Started receiving spam texts like never before

I’m pretty careful about my data and privacy. After being forced to use my phone number with this app I started receiving spam text messages like never before. Usually when th app is free, you are the product being sold. Also, the main functionality of adding an event to calendar is completely broken and apparently has been for a long time

i made an account so i could join my school bands group chat but no matter what i try it doesn’t want me added to the chat. i tried the qr code, my phone number, email, everything. so im completely out of the loop and i don’t know when band gets canceled or when times change. i just showed up to band when im usually supposed to and there were people there that i know so i assumed this was winter percussion but it was MARCHING BAND and it started and HOUR LATER. that was the most embarrassing thing that’s happened to me in the last year and a half. thank you group me ❤️ (my boyfriend was there too and they watched me be an absolute idiot)

Was good, but ran into a major problem

I used to love GroupMe and I would use it for all my group activities that required lots of mass-communication. But recently, it started doing this thing where it doesn’t load all of the most recent messages until I send one. As you can imagine this is very inconvenient and makes me look like I’m not paying attention to the conversation, or I make a comment on something when ppl are talking about something completely different. One time someone sent a very sentimental and heartfelt message, but it never loaded on my end, so I sent a meme and it was very awkward. I don’t think this is just an internet issue though, because it happens to a lot of other people in various group chats. It’s a big deal to me because it kind of defeats the whole purpose of GroupMe if we can’t all communicate and receive messages effectively. It’s gotten to the point where I just don’t send messages anymore because I’m worried that I’ll have another incident like the one I mentioned. Please fix this and I’ll give you guys 5 stars, because otherwise it’s a really good app!
