Login is terrible

I had to download this app for a group I am in. It asked me for my birthday so I put it in but it never said I had to be above 18 and that you could only put in your birthday once so I put it in. But after it said you are under age and my account would be suspended for 30 days!!! Than it said you could sign in with your Microsoft account to fix it. but when I went to the Microsoft website it was having problems also and it wouldn’t create my account!!! Terrible!!!??☹️

App has been buggy last few months

Historically, this has been a great app for my me and my friends. But over the last little bit it’s become very unreliable. It doesn’t update as messages are sent/received. Often times I have to close and reopen in order to get the chat to update. Bummer but I think it’s time to find a new app as this has been ongoing for the last 6-8 weeks.

I think it’s fine, but there are a few features that need to be added to make it better: 1. The ability to delete a message. It has a “Hide Message” feature but that only erases it from your view and not everyone else’s 2. An “Edit Message” option. PLEASE ADD AN EDIT MESSAGE OPTION 3. The ability to post videos of any length 4. This isn’t really a feature issue but it is a big problem that needs to be addressed. This app is terrible at keeping track of old messages. The messages are still there but if you want to get to them, then you have to keep scrolling up until you get there. And depending on how far back you’re trying to go and how fast you’re scrolling, the app will let you advance a few inches closer and then crash on you and you have to start all over again. If you go back in, the app will let you get a little closer (sometimes) but it will crash on you again and you have to keep repeating this cycle

Unable to receive messages. First time downloading this app on my iPhone. Apparently I am added to my church group, but I haven’t received any messages that were sent. Friends have received my messages but I’m unable to receive theirs. Next step is deleting my account and this useless app.

Fix messages not showing up

I have used this app for 8 years and in the last month or so, messages will not show up. Then when I send a message, the 30 messages that didn’t show up will pop up and my message makes no sense. Other members of my group are also having this problem. This has NEVER been a problem in the past and is making the app nearly unusable.

People grading good this need to try whatsapp. This app is slow, you cannot make calls, is impossible to erase conversation, looks very heavy inneficient and slow. I was told to get it bc my job, but other wise i would deleted asap. Is so bad. Snapchat is even better

Great App but add an @all feature

Great for what it’s trying to be! Since this is a group centric app, PLEASE add an @all feature for group messaging. It is infuriating having to type out every single person’s name to ensure they get the notification. An @all feature like y’all have in Microsoft Teams has been needed for so long

Weird issues with adding people

Works fine for a group messaging app, but nothing special. I gave it one star because I’ve had tons of issues with adding people and so have other people in the same group.

My friends and I have used GroupMe for probably 7 years now and loved it. However, recently the last couple months the app has been very glitchy. 1. Sometimes not getting any notifications randomly 2. Messages load in very delayed after and a message has been sent
