Group me is so helpful and extremely easy to use!

The app itself is very well designed, and probably runs really well if you aren’t in a super active group. HOWEVER, I am in a group that stays fairly active, and the app doesn’t stop lagging and crashing. Honestly to the point where we’ve considered switching platforms multiple times. For example, every time I go to see the most popular messages of the week, the app crashes. Every single time. Additionally, the app lags about 75% of times I open it, and typically it crashes before I’m able to close the app myself. PLEASE fix it, it’s becoming unbearable.

I used to really REALLY love GroupMe. I was very addicted. I was constantly GroupMeing and constantly checking my GroupMe group chats. Then I realized I had a problem. So I deleted it. It-it’s bad. Bad app.

I do wish that I had the option to give it 4.75 stars. There are a few key things that I would change if I could, yet by and large I really love GroupMe. 1) It’s often unfortunate that the owner/admin can’t delete an inappropriate post. We have 3 years of history and I wouldn’t want to delete all of it for just one post that is in poor taste. 2) I wish that there was more than a like button (which is a heart, and a heart suggests love, not like). 3) Certain people who join have the SMS turned on automatically and this really upsets them to receive a text and notification from GroupMe every single time that somebody posts. I know how to turn this off, but some people don’t even ask for help, they just bail on our community out of irritation over this strange default that only happens for some random people. 4) I do wish that there was a pay option that would allow videos that last more than 28 seconds. All in all, thank you for this service. We enjoy it very much.

I love groupme been using it none stop since about 2012 maybe 2013 for my dance organization. I just wish there was an edit feature like on facebook for mistakes and also a delete feature so you can delete pictures and videos things of that nature even if it only allows you delete only what you posted and you can’t delete anyone elses stuff and like someone else said a pin so that you can pin important information to the page. Also if at all possible to make it so it doesn’t take almost forever to play a video and allow video chat then I think it would be all set ?. Im glad that theres a response feature so that you can respond to people individually but yes get those things in the works and groupme would be that much better.
