Need some help.

So, randomly the app decides not to let me send messages, so I reinstalled it. I now have logged in to zero groups, messages, and I can’t join groups at all when given a link. Please help!

I love Group Me since I am a school teacher. However, I can never upload videos. It just spins nonstop, and eventually says, “Video failed”.

I’ve been using GroupMe for years, only because I have no other choice. This app is non-functional. It is incompetently designed and frustrating to use. Up until recently you could not delete messages, and even now you can’t even edit them to fix typos. It’s ability to connect to a device is pathetic, regardless of how strong your wifi or cellular data is. You can’t share videos that are more than 15 seconds long, and gifs only work half the time. It regularly glitches out. When you post a photo set, it shuffles the order of your photos. And, when you try to look through photo sets, when you get to the end of one, if you keep scrolling it will take you through the previous set in BACKWARDS. ORDER. When you try to scroll FORWARD. How asinine is that?! And almost always, if you post a large photo set, and you’ve spent 20 minutes trying to comb through to find the perfect ones to fit within the post limit (10), after you hit send, they will simply not show up in the app, and you have to try again multiple times. These are only a sampling of the problems with this app. This app is BROKEN. DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER CHOICE.

Can’t add new members

Like the app enough I guess. Haven’t been able to add new members for a couple of months now. Have to find other members of the group to add new people. Very inconvenient.

Messages often do not update when open so I can’t see the most recent messages. App quits every time I try to search in messages.

Why can’t I join the group using apps?

Just infuriating how I can’t seem to click on the link and sends me to app, instead it sends me to Safari and App Store. Having hard time joining any group. It shouldn’t be this difficult

I like the app and it works pretty well, but whenever I get notification, they don’t go away. The app icon will still say I have notifications to be read even though I don’t. So in order for them to go away I have to sit in the app for a bit before they will disappear. This happens every time and it’s very annoying.

You guys that made this is garbage I try to make an account for it and I type in the right password and it says it wasn’t it. Plus you guys can’t make a pop up right.

Used to love group me but it’s now so slow comparison to many others out there such as discord and or what’s app etc. Can’t send long videos. Lags. Not as fast or smooth.

Can you pls fix the bugs. When someone dm’s me most times there is no notification and the message opens as if I read it already. And other times the message disappears. I would see it in my notifications but when I go to check its nowhere to be found. If I remember the persons name I can search it and reach out to them but if I dont then its like gone forever. Also it keeps freezing up and not letting me slide a chat to hide it. I had to close and reopen the app multiple times just for it to still not work. I slide a group to the left and the options are blank. Cmon guys.
