Great and Easy App

DavidRed

Love using Quik. Makes me look so good at movie making. ?

Super buggy

Raymo C

This app, like the previous incarnation is super buggy. It would be a good app if it didn’t lock up or crash regularly. These bugs don’t seem to be hardware dependent as it crashes on the iPad mini, iPad Pro, and iPhones 6s, 7+, 8+ and 11 Promax. Also, there’s no way of editing the canned music selections so each time you go to choose a song you have to scroll through a big list of music, many of which I would never use.

Was great, now too complicated and slow

The app is doesn’t allow you to connect

IvanaHitabong

Stopped using my go pro because I could never get it to connect to the app even after following all of the troubleshooting instructions. Was really upset about it, but ended up just buying a usb that I put my SD card into and upload to my computer, but for someone that doesn’t have a computer this app was supposed to allow you to view all of your media. Getting it to connect is the hard part.

Worst ever

thomajfjgieodoglwd

Have had this app for a year now and it one of the worst editing apps I’ve ever had. There has been nothing but problems almost every time I have used it. The connect ability only works about 10% of the time. I constantly have to uninstall and then reinstall the for it work properly. Also one of the slowest editing apps I’ve used. If there was another app that worked with GoPro I would ditch this one. Definitely would not recommend

As of Right Now 1 Star

TanrrP

Lots of potential - some features poorly executed. Main reason why 1 star - when importing videos from iPhone or GoPro, footage appears very washed out and does not reflect original quality/color of footage. The editing settings are nice to try and correct this but regardless of what is done, footage color seems to deteriorate making washed out videos. Adding compatibility with various video types maintaining the colors/quality such as hdr is imperative especially if a subscription is required to do much editing. Have enjoyed Quik in the past, the concept is great, until ability to bring original videos over and do further editing such as sharpness, color enhancement, saturation, etc. I will not be purchasing a subscription. If that changes in the near future I will be at the front of the line. As of the moment, videos I take with my phone camera maintain better color accuracy than anything I can do with Quik.

Highly recommend
