App has failed a few times, but it’s pretty easy to use and manage videos.

The GoPro Quik app is frustratingly deficient. Among the issues: * Exporting videos and photos from the app to the iPhone photo library removes GPS location information * Grabbing a photo from a video does not tag the GPS location or the precise time stamp (the time is the same as the start time of the video) * Video export settings are only available if a video has been edited. It is not possible to set the export quality on an unedited video. * Highlights that are added in the video viewer cannot be removed. If using studio mode the highlights can be removed from the project, but the changes do not apply back to the clip. * Multiple overlapping highlights are treated as separate segments. Using the studio to automatically trim the video will repeat those overlapping segments. There is no way to set the duration of a highlighted segment. * Uploads to the GoPro cloud are hit or miss. There is no feedback on progress or options to force upload. It may take days to upload or may not happen ever. I bought a GoPro because I thought the price premium would give better software support. But the mobile app is terrible, and the desktop app has been discontinued and does not work. In hindsight I would have bought a much less expensive knockoff, with no loss of features or function in practice.

Hey everybody that may be reading this I just got my GoPro hero 10 black for Christmas this year and I just wanted to say thank you now I know there are still some bugs in the app and the camera it’s self (it over heats in tripod mode just not as fast but what do you expect it’s a very compact and complex camera with a frame rate of 60) but I know a decent amount about how hard it is to develop a app and build a camera and I’ve seen some of the negative reviews and thought you guys and gals would like a pick me up so thank you for all of your hard work and for giving me and hundreds of people the privilege and the ability to record very stable and high resolution videos and pictures thank you and I wish you all the best sincerely a random kid.

It is a good app but I would add everything for free since people pay for the Go pro

Good thing it was “free”. Horrible app. GoPro, surely you can do better!

Doesn't flow. Too many layers. Not seamless. Also...You need to allow the users to search phone for music. iTunes is not the only location.
