I’ve used this app for many years across many devices. It’s had many wonderful improvements over the years. However, since the update giving masculine/feminine translations for gendered languages, copy & paste has been ruined for me. Previously, the app would often predict needed gendered letters/words based on other words being translated, and a simple copy & paste almost always the immediately available next step, it now copies both gendered translations, which can’t be pasted into certain fields that have limited characters (Twitter, TikTok, for example). This has become a point of major annoyance, and I find myself often using other translators. I enjoy THIS translator, and have a sense of loyalty to it, despite the absurdity of that, and would love to see copy & paste work only with the gendered translation provided, also excluding the “masculine” and “feminine” indicators, which also gets copied.
Can’t translate Georgian well…
Its bad fix it
Too many problems with translation to Geo. language. Need update to less popular countries like this and others or it’s looks like no-one doesn’t know about them.
Struggles with newer iPhones and with Japanese

First, this app works much better on an iPhone with a single camera lens. On my iPhone 12 Pro it really struggles to focus on Japanese text, especially if I’m trying to translate something on a screen. I switch to my old iPhone 6 and it focuses right away. Second, it does a decent job, most of the time, but context is so important to translating Japanese to English and that’s where the app struggles. Really, if there was an option to just read the Kanji to me or display the romaji, I can translate it myself.

New UI is awful

The new UI in the translate app is awful. The old one was way better. -You should be able to switch the language without losing everything you have already written in the box. -There should be an easy way to flip the 2 languages you are translating between -Why does it have to go full screen when you are typing. You should be able to see the translation happening live like you used to. Overall the update is awful. It looks pretty but the user experience decreased

The voice option listens to some words but when you click on it it just disappears! Absolutely awful!

Word size adjustability

Let us change the word size of output to more easily Chinese script and, character language alike.
Informal vs formal

Can’t use this app for strangers, superiors, or those elder to me. Need an option for the formal/respectful conjugations and the correct words that they are used with. I already know how to communicate with my buddies
