This is very helpful but I wish there were more languages. More Spanish languages and stuff like that. I thought that I could finally communicate with my grandma (who is Honduran) but when I checked the app it only has main languages. And no for people who’ll think both languages are same, there ARE different Spanish languages out there. Please just please add more languages, not just main ones.

Great Keyboard with a recent bug

Would normally rate this a 5, but with iOS 15.2 G-board emojis and gifs no longer work. According to boards, Google has been aware of the issue since the middle of December 2021, but as of the New Year (2022) the bug persists.

Translations are usually accurate and community approved. Offline translation of a downloaded language are extremely slow for some reason, which is annoying when trying to quickly speak to someone in a different language. Not sure if everyone has this problem, but I feel like downloaded languages should have instantaneous translation. Translations on internet work fine with good connection or cell service.

I use this app mainly for Haitian Creol. I’m thankful this app exist’s and that if you download the language you want you can use the app without wifi (it also works faster if you use it that way). Is it perfect?… Not by a long shot. The app translates your word literally and not your thoughts so you have to arrange you English in a very simple an direct manner so you tone and intent is not lost in translation. You also have be careful to use that exist in the language or it will just spit out the English word you used… And sometimes the translation just doesn’t make any sense. So while I do greatly appreciate the app exists and an effort was made to support the Haitian Creol language it needs a lot more work. I’d say it is currently on correct 75-80 percent of the time.

Need to be able to report in app mistakes. Recently found that translating Jew from Turkish to English and visa verse gives you the words “fleecing swindled an”……. at minimum should be able report such distasteful and clearly antisemitic (hopefully) errors.

Update makes my app worthless

Whatever this whole new facelift you gave this thing recently was; I can't even get it to work right now. Every time I try to switch the language is it just switches right back. So it's stuck on English to Spanish. It won't let me change anything! Fix this please. But I'm deleting the app now. I'll come back and check later and see if it got fixed. But there ain't no sense in having it sit here on my phone if it's not useful

It has helped immensely with my communicating with my in-laws and friends around the world. My only request would be the ability to choose formal versus informal (or singular versus plural) for languages like Spanish and Russian that have two forms of you.
