Having some issues monitoring my child’s android while on an iPhone

Setup says to install Google Family Link for Children & Teens, which is not in the App Store.
Doesn’t work as advertised

Setting the time limits may or may not work on your child’s device. The “usage” information is inaccurate. I’ve watched my kid stare so long they become a drooling vegetable, yet FamilyLink tells me they either haven’t been in their device that day or were on it for only a fraction of the actual time. It’s kinda useless. Another example of big tech making false promises to help consumers protect their children.

I am extremely upset because I loved this app for my sons old phone and then when I went to put it on his new phone we had a lot of issues. So I decided to delete the account...set up a new email account and everything and then it said he couldn’t do it because he already tried to join another family group within last 12 months. Very upsetting.
