We’ve been using the ap for 6 months. On my youngest child’s phone the bed time and Daily limit parts don’t actually lock her out. Also, we’ve noticed the location part can be very slow to update and off by several blocks.

I would like to give time limits in categories, games vs. productivity apps. I don’t see that that is possible.

If I understand it right, the only way to follow the rules to get a a child under 13 a Gmail is to use google family. So it’s an app for mobile devices, but what about laptops and desktops? Seems the only way to have a child log on using desktop is I then have to enter my gmail password. Not really user friendly, especially when my kid visits her grandparents. She doesn’t have her own mobile device and won’t for several years. Seems like google left out a key demographic, those of us who don’t want to give their kids a mobile device of their own but who want their kid to have their own gmail.

This app is great! Being a working mom i still feel like I’m with my child because I can monitor what my child is doing online and can control the amount of time my child spends on her phone from work

The parent app works fine on an iphone IF AND ONLY IF your child has an android compatible phone. Don't believe me? Look for Google family link for children on iTunes. Not there. On android? a whopping 1.9*s. So if your kid has an iPhone best of luck.

I have had this app for months now. Now my other child has a phone. I can not add her to my account that I already have. I been trying to use my husband phone and email his is not working either. I am just not to happy about this. I really like that app. Just don’t like that fact that I cannot use it on more than one child.
