Work around App locking phone

I have phone set to lock between hours 12am to 7am. I have since been told child can hold home button and ask google to play Netflix and bypasses all Family link lock.?‍♀️ what’s the point if the child just works around parental locks

Apparently Google won't allow kids to sign into Google hangouts on iPhones, only in Android phones. They refuse to say this directly though. I've spent three hours in family link trying to figure out how to approve googles apps for iPhone, and it looks like it can't be done, Google just blocks it by default for kids. I'm unable to change the birthday in my kids account to make them over thirteen so it will work. Frustrating Google, if it's not compatible say so.

My 11 yr old finally negotiating and earned his privilege to have a phone. I was beyond nervous giving him his own phone. This app has given me peace of mind. It tracks his online activities, I can set boundaries for what kind of apps he has access to. I absolutely love how he has to request my approval for what he can download. Plus it has a gps that he doesn’t know. I love this app!

I can’t get rid of this app all I want is to get my child a game but it won’t work because of this stupid app at least allow us to delete the app not the whole account!!!

How can google reviews have this app at 1.9 stars and iTunes has it at 4.7?? Because they are fake reviews. The truth is this app is very user unfriendly, difficult to use and all around a piece of garbage

I would prefer to choose whether or not YouTube is appropriate for my child rather than have Google make those decisions for me and my family. This is what forces parents to set up accounts and lie about their children’s age which prevents you from using The monitoring and other features offered through family link
