Worst bugs ever all the time

The latest update has a bag bug that has been telling me every ten minutes that my notes are not updating.

I’m overall impressed at how goodnotes reflects aspects of a notebook. I really like that you can search key terms and find the notes that you need. However I dont think folders can be color coded it would be helpful as I am taking several subjects in school. It would be great if this could be an added feature in an update.

Great, with a couple glaring missing features

This app is great and the sole reason I use my Apple Pencil. It’s got plenty of features to maintain its notebooks, but isn’t so feature-filled it gets bogged down and bloated. I’ve kept digital notes for years now; this is the first time I feel like I have all the benefits of digital note taking along with all the benefits of physical note taking, without any of the drawbacks of either. That said, there are two issues I would like to see added: iCloud drive support for auto-backup. This is seems like a weird miss, but at least you can manually backup to your iCloud via the Files app for now. Secondly, handwriting recognition is awesome, but it would be so much more helpful if it supported multiple languages in one notebook. When taking notes for language learning, it’s normal to take notes in your native tongue and in the language you’re learning (in my case, English and Japanese, respectively). As it stands, handwriting recognition’s usefulness for language study is limited. Still, there are plenty of other ways to organize and find your content. I use this app nearly every day, and I’m finding more and more uses for it all the time. Thanks for the great app!

I really like this app and it helps me a lot with my study. But I just have trouble with using a pen tablet to write. It's always missing some parts. I hope there will be an improvement, thank you!

This app is about as good as they get for taking notes, making simple sketches, plotting ideas, and sharing them easily. Honeslty, the app is pretty flawless. It’s simple to use, visually appealing, and relatively inexpensive for all the benefits that it offers. Most apps that offer this much productivity and quality are subscription-based, but this will get you a lot more bang for your buck as it won’t disappear if you’re not willing to pay a ransom weekly subscription fee. If you’re taking notes for class, meetings, etc. This is the app you want. The customer support is about as good of any that I have ever seen. They will reach out if you’re having issues, and if you’re a fool that doesn’t know how to follow instructions like myself, they’ll point you in the right direction. IF YOU’RE HAVING TROUBLE EXPORTING IMAGES YOU’VE DRAWN: you need to make sure you have the box checked for “export background” and “export annotation”. The wording on this is a little unclear, and I wasn’t able to find the support page for it (although it does exist) because I find the title to be a little unclear. Oh well. Support hooked me up and helped me out and now I’m extremely satisfied! Former review: I really hate to give such a bad review for such a great app that is so impressive in so many ways. Honestly wonderful for note taking, design, everything, that it’s meant to be used for. However, I was recently quite embarrassed (and continue to be in a pickle) because every time I export my notes either as PDFs or images, they export completely blank. When I recently sent sketches for a design we are working for at my job, everyone got a blank message. Awkward and annoying but not the end of the world. But now I’m realizing it wasn’t a fluke and it’s not working for anything, and I’m unable to use the app. I’ve tried going through GoodNotes website for help, there was no help to be found. I am unable to use the product to its intended end and it has cost my time, embarrassment, and now money.

Crashing on startup after 48 hours

I will say the app was good while it lasted, but now 2 days later it won’t even open and the error message doesn’t even stay on screen long enough for me to write it down. Happy to raise this rating if/when this gets fixed

Love the app, however, needs more pen options

Fantastic app but I wish there was more pen, pencil, highlighter etc options!! Hopefully in the next few updates.

The Apps is Great!!! Only One Personal Issue

I enjoy using this app when takign notes in my classe this semester. I like the tools it provides and shortcuts. The only thing that bother me is how limited I am organizing my folders or notbooks. If possible, I would like to see updates to help support other organization methods such one I liked from Notability: A split screen/list veiw of my folders. Meaning my folders are tabs stacked on the left that drop forming sub-sections eventually where indiviual files appear on the right to chose from. :)
