Worst App I’ve ever used

The number of times this freezes up or lets you get to the final step and then can’t process your payment, is astounding. And this is the upgraded/improved version. This app has been around since May and they still haven’t fixed the glitches.

This application is very annoying. The update did not bring new functionalities and the same problem persists: slow, buggy, very limited. Only serves to show the bar code and nothing more. It’s sad that such a great service has such a poor phone application.

To say the app is bad is a gross understatement. Its basically the same web experience browsed through the app with limited to no value added functionality (such as adding tix to my wallet). Would suggest a rollback until u can get this done right. Your service is ro good to be undermined by poor tech..

The app is just plain awful. Payments - no Apple Pay support, can’t paste a credit card number into the app AND the app crashes causing you to have to start over and miss your train if you are close. The schedule part of the app is another “pleasure”. The gates to the train close 4 minutes before the states departure time. The staff smugly states “It’s on our web site” when incredulous would be riders are denied access. This helpful little tidbit is NOT on the mobile app. Other reviews say that the turnstiles can’t read the QR code generated by the app, not surprising since the paper ticket I finally broke down and bought (had an hour to kill after all) wasn’t read by the turnstiles either. This whole experience is like someone that saw a movie about good customer service once and thought they could implement it here. Need a mobile app? Check - forget about people that have to actually use it. Post the schedule for train departure - not when you have to be on the train. No wonder only tourists ride this thing.

App is lacking Apple Pay!! Also I should be able to unlock the app with my Face ID Catch up we are going into 2019 ...we want fast & easy also my boarding pass should be on my phone like when I go on delta instead of haveing to go to my app just to get it ...and Siri should be able to book the train catch up guys then I could give you five star ...

Bought my tickets for two people round trip. I saw they had an app. I downloaded the app. It states you can use your Brightline ID to scan at the turnstile. Can’t locate my tickets anywhere. The app states there no no future trips scheduled for me. I am no new to computers, smart phones or apps. There is no customer service line. The app has a fake chat button. You select the chat button only to be redirected to an email address. Horrible lack of customer service ! Useless app.

Sadly I use the Brightline to commute and as I type this review I can tell you the train and monthly the app do not live up to the hype. The train has as many delays as the Tri rail and the app is by far the worst app I’ve ever used. On Friday I was unable to access my ticket even though I’m a monthly pass holder. Same thing this morning and because I cannot access my ticket I have to have the agent print one for me and guess what? I asked her what is taking so long to print and she stated that it’s normal!!! Of course I missed the train, not because I had a paper ticket and the train was late but because I wasn’t on the manifest. I was put on the later train than I normally take. Trust me in so far the experience has been a nightmare for me...


DO NOT USE THIS APP FOR TICKETING!

This app is fine for making reservations and whatnot, but DO NOT use it in place of a paper ticket! The machines don't read it, so you will have to get an attendant to help. Several of us missed our train because of this.

Awful App. I can’t even create an account. Simple unacceptable. No wonder they got so many 1 Star and negative reviews, this is exactly what all other users claim. The so called convenience does NOT exist. If this is how they care about the app, Imagine how terrible the service is.

Awful, just awful. I arrived seven minutes early and was not able to purchase tickets. When I asked the worker why , she just laughed in my face. No where does it say that we must arrive 10 minutes before the train actually leaves. Because of that, I lost around an hour and a half sitting in the station.
