Shopping List is anemic

jeff3544

While a shopping list is “helpful”, the one in the current version is essentially worthless as I essentially have to manually type in every item. Even after signing in with my bonus card, my previous purchases are not linked to allow me to use that as a “jump off” point. Moreover, the lack of a scanning function to add using an item’s barcode is an omission that tells me the app designers don’t grocery shop themselves or if they do, they haven’t used competitor’s apps.

Update of review

Somehow, his app has managed to get even worse. Now, I can’t even login...whether it be on the app or online. Have uninstalled and reloaded the app, still the same problem. I give up!! It’s getting deleted off my phone for good and I won’t be patronizing Giant anymore. It’s not worth the aggravation anymore. Will stick with Wegmans (who has an AWESOME app, by the way) and my local family-owned grocery store.

Won’t accept login credentials

For me, it could do everything else perfectly, but it is frustrating to no end that the app simply won’t let me login with my credentials that I know work on the online store. Incredibly annoying.

Absolutely horrible

Not only do I have to sign in every single time, not only does it load ever so slowly, but every few months it doesn’t allow me to log in at all. And I have the password written down, just to be sure. I put my phone number in at the register for the gas points and sale items, and that’s it. Worthless app.

Decent but coupons need lots of help

celinenme

Decent app but coupons could use some big improvements. We need to be able to filter by category instead of scrolling through all of them. Please fix the issue where coupons remain listed even if you’ve used them. I can’t always remember if I’ve used one. The Coupons app removes them once they are used. My other issue is that I’ll make a shopping list on the web while logged in and it usually doesn’t carry forward to the app but it should.

No good

Cannot get I to app. Cannot use phone number only card number to set up account.

Needs a lot of work.

The digital coupons are nice in theory - except it’s useless and a giant pain because it lacks some basic common sense functionality. 1) categories to quickly sort coupons rather slowly scrolling through them all. 2) be able to remove coupons you don’t want anymore. 3) mark used coupons as used - they appear as available even after being used leaving me confused when it doesn’t work because I forgot I already used it (never an issue with paper.) That you can’t tell what coupons you have or have not used makes me not want to use the app and just use paper coupons. They’re so much easier to track.

Disappointed

whrgrv

I have become more and more disappointed with this app. My online selections use to automatically download to my iPhone—very convenient when shopping. Yes, I know I can build a shopping list from the app on my phone, but its easier to see my laptop screen. Now I have to add the extra step on emailing the list to myself, which makes the app less useful.

No pharmacy App

Dominic9d7.

Why no pharmacy app. All major drug stores have them
