When I rated the "Old app", I gave it a 4. It was handy, easy to navigate and easy to read. After a few days with this "New app", I find myself rapidly loosing interest in it. I now give it a 1 and was glad to see others gave it a low rating. It is now ridiculously busy, hard to read, blah color and icon scheme, and on and on. Will probably try to make it to my next goal / challenge, then just use it occasionally. I can handle change for improvements, but one word for this new one would be "Really???".

The new update is BAD, BAD, BAD!!!! I used to love this app & used it ALL the time. Now I can't figure out how to get the information I want in the format most useful to me. I don't think anything about this update is an improvement, I think it's just screwed up now. BTW I Don't like the new logo either. It is too small & hard to see among other app logos. It kinda looks like a road but is too generic looking. I like the old gas pump logo better - it was easier to see, stood out among other app logos, and you knew right away what it was.

First review I have written for an App Store app. Change is hard but it's difficult not to feel betrayed when an app so familiar is suddenly transformed into something unrecognizable. I am accustomed to using this app daily, and now I feel like a good friend has died. For practical reasons I will likely still use the app for now, but it seems unlikely I will report prices with the frequency I did before today. I'm sure some of the bugs will be worked out, perhaps I might accept the "new look," but I'm now looking for something different and maybe Gas Buddy will slip off my home page and into my memory in the meantime. Goodbye my friend it was a fun 4 yrs

I was a loyal daily user of GB, but I am very disappointed by this upgrade... Where do I start? (1) I am not impressed with the much touted new look. While the color scheme is prettier, but the contrast is less and at night the color scheme should change to a more low-light friendly scheme. Next week is the autumnal equinox, more night than day. (2) Reporting is buggy. When I am a passenger in a moving vehicle I am locked out of reporting the I am locked out of reporting the fuel prices I see posted along the road... Even though I reply to GB question that I am a passenger. (3) GB now does a poor job of keeping up with my location as we move between townships. I have only had the update a few days, but twice I have to kill the app and restart it to get an updated location. (4) The filters are nice for searching but If it knows my preference is to search for Diesel fuel, why tell me how regular gas prices are trending... Diesel is often trending differently than gas. (5) If I am driving looking for fuel shouldn't GB be able to tell me if the station is in the direction I am heading...? Past is past. If GB does not address these issues in the next 2 months I will probably have moved on. Is anybody listening? Maybe some other established APP like Waze will take this opportunity to improve their fuel finding functions.

Loved the old app .... New one extremely hard to see and use ..... Sometimes more is not better ... In this case it is much worse?

Been reporting gas prices for over 5 years. Rarely miss a day. This new version has just made me give up posting. Can't even find the station next to my house now. First time not posting prices anymore. I give up and don't even open the app anymore. Nice knowing you gas buddy. ???
