This app does not work with Dezl 760, need to fix this cause a lot of folks doesn’t have the new dezl 770. For what it’s worth, it does work on android for the 760 though.

This is the most useless app ever made. I spend more time trying to get my garmin and phone to connect than I would if I just used and old school book of maps.

I got a Garmin Drive Smart which requires the Smart Link App for traffic. Got it to work off and on but it is impossible to connect the traffic app even though the connection to the GPS is active. Absolute crap. Buy a different brand GPS! At least the older units had a GPS receiver built into the power supply

Does not connect to smartphone services automatically

I have an iPhone 6s and this app stopped connecting to smartphone services after upgrading to iOS 11. Well, it works maybe 1 in 10 times I get in the car. It is absolutely infuriating to have mess with the settings on the GPS as well as restarting my phone over and over to get this to connect properly - all while driving in bumper to number rush hour traffic, which is why I paid so much money for this product in the first place. As far as the app goes, it has a lot of features I could care less about and are not particularly intuitive as to what they even do. I just want it to connect to traffic and weather. That’s it. But it doesn’t.

I often wonder if it's only the disappointed folks that write reviews because their mad or disappointed. Downloaded this app to use with my 2598LMTHD—it works like it should. If anything, in disappointed that Live Traffic overrides HD traffic when paired to the GPS. But that's a gps issue and not a app issue. Im happy with it.

Bluetooth connection issues

I have a Garmin Driveassist 51, the first time I use it, it connected to the smartphone link app, after 2 day I lost the Bluetooth connection between the app and the phone, trying to reconnect many times but failed, only the phone connected to the GPS but not the app. Garmin please fix this issue.
