I really wanted to like this app. Everything work at first, but after about a day the only smart notification that worked was the weather. Very unreliable and very frustrating!

The most useful function for me would be the ability to send an address or POI from my phone to the unit (2599 in my case). Unfortunately if you’re searching anything over 50 miles it won’t be found; as only “nearby places” are available; a terrible flaw. We have the technology for GS. Fix it, please.

Since iOS 11.2.5 came out can connect smart link with gps for more than two minutes without getting disconnected. It was working great before the update. Please update

My link doesn’t connect to my gps???

Still cannot get app to connect (iPhone se ios 11.2.5) to dezl 760. Bluetooth paired after restore. Works fine for Android. But ios version is cursed. Also too bad subscription wasn't linked to garmin dashboard... Have to repurchase everything. Luckily just the weather.

Coordinates instead of addresses?!?

I used to think this was a 4-5 star app. But, a few updates ago, it stopped displaying addresses and replaced them with coordinates when searching for locations. BRING BACK ADDRESSES!!!!! ?

Another update and still no fix. Not so smart link still doesn’t work. Year after year they sell a product that claims to work but doesn’t. All the ever have to say is sorry. Time to go tomtom.

Only works with my 770 dezl if I “forget the device” and re-pair. I have to do that every time.

If it could add calendar access, this would be awesome

I would recommend this product if it could access my calendar on my phone, tap an address of an appointment, and send it to my Garmin device. Right now, I had to download the google calendar app (because copying from the Apple calendar app just copies a link), go to the google calendar app, find my appointment, tap on it, copy the address, go to the garmin app, paste it in the search bar, click on the address, then tap send to device. The workflow is bad I might as well use google maps. I prefer to save data and use my garmin device, but this is why I can’t give a high rating. Add this feature and you’ve got a five star review.
