I used to have another account but I lost it and my phone says it can’t find the data recovery for it plus my Facebook that it was linked to has been disabled, so I have to start over. Plus the app keeps kicking me off of it as soon as I sign into it. Please do something about this.

I love the game, but flutter bucks are really hard to get! I only have 5, and need 200 for the cool stuff.

Solid distraction

During a time of high stress, I wanted a game that didn’t require a ton of time, wasn’t stressful, but provided distraction for me. This game does that beautifully. The new collections that come out in events keep me striving and interested. It’s fun to realize what a new butterfly’s ability is and drool over it for a while! And now that garden events allow you to obtain butterflies from past events, it feels like a better game. Before, you had visiting butterflies that usually just so happened to be a tad more expensive than how much in-game special currency you had. Which... left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I get it, they have staff, they are tending to this game and improving it; they need to get funding somehow! You can still choose to get items that will help you along, but it feels less like an obvious ploy to *manipulate* support, and more like a regular choice. I have some other nitpicks here and there; I don’t seem to do well in flower events where you get a crop of special flowers about every two hours. Apparently they are linked to how much you play? But no matter how much I play, I always really struggle with this event. Even with special abilities helping to point out flowers to me so I don’t miss them, even stocking up on frog food so I can score some extra ones. It’s just not as fun for me because it feels like nothing I do impacts the outcome. And sometimes butterflies have... lackluster abilities. To work so hard for a butterfly and realize it just ups your collection rate for a minute is disappointing. I feel like they could benefit from adding a few abilities. I think one that lets you see how much frog food you have, both categories, would be useful. I try to stock up as much as possible, but it’s almost impossible to keep track of how much you have. I also never use bulk feed because, without knowing how much you have stored up, it’s impossible to know or even guess if it’s more effective to do it bit by bit. I think for the more Type A kind of player, that sort of stat would be really useful. Or even a legendary ability that would allow a permutation of itself or another butterfly, within certain perimeters (to make it doable, reducing possible outcomes). Say, it will allow you to mate a wood white with a peacock butterfly, destroying or “freeing” your existing butterflies in the process, and you get an albino peacock that isn’t anything in nature, in return. It could be a rarer kind of butterfly and have some mix of the skills of the parents. It just feels like... there are so many ideas for abilities floating around, and the one thing that would make the game better is to have some more really interesting abilities to chase after. All in all, a great game. I’ve played it over a year and I really enjoy it. It’s improving, partially due to the garden event, and I’d recommend it to people who like gathering or collecting games. I think it has some unmet potential, but so do most games. I’m glad it’s on my phone.

Frustrating

I downloaded the game and it’s going through a live event and I can’t even use the special flowers to get the special butterflies. I can collect them but when I go to use them they aren’t in my flower collection to use. Very unfair I think everyone going through this should be able to get the butterflies from this collection without having to wait for it to come again.

This game is great! I love that I can wake up to the calming sounds of the rainforest, wake up my butterflies and feed my caterpillars, go out for the day, then come back to them and do it all over again. I love the graphics, they make the butterflies and caterpillars look so cute! I think it’s awesome that the butterflies are real life species! I raise Monarchs and just have an overall fascination with butterflies so this game is great for me! The one thing that does disappoint me is that the caterpillars aren’t accurate. They look like what they’ll turn into which I guess can be nice. Monarch caterpillars are beautiful, they’re black, yellow, and white striped. In the game they're just orange. When they go into they’re chrysalis it’s green with gold flakes adorning the top which resembles a crown hence the name Monarch. For a few days before hatching it becomes clear and reveals its stunning colours. But in the game, the chrysalis is just, well... orange. I wish the caterpillar and chrysalis stages in the game where more accurate. It would make the game much more engaging and fun because it would make even the “common” butterflies worth collecting. I know this would be a big change but I’d hope this idea is considered! Great game, keep up the good work! ???

There is a little problem with this game... it is that some butterflies are impossible to get without money. The game is perfect and all but... well there is a butterfly I had been trying to get already for the 6th month!!! Make some of rare butterflies a little bit easier to get because I am about to die! But except that it is the best game, thank you!
