This app is garbage. It used to be my go-to app, but now 90% of the functionality of the app is gone, so it just takes up space. I would give this app 0 stars if I could.

Was my favorite app for quite some time. But now it’s basically unusable and erased all of my movie ratings and want to see list. Completely useless.

Lost my Want to Sees and Ratings

The app lost profile history twice already. Very bad user experience.

Got this app because it is the only way to get Rotten Tomatoes scores in an app. But it doesn’t even have scores for last year’s Oscar nominations. Everything I check says “coming soon”. Plus unless Fandango is streaming it, it pretends the movie isn’t available for streaming. Irritating that it won’t flip to portrait mode on an ipad. Plus you are forced to enter your location. Great, another app tracking you. Who cares what is showing locally? Theaters aren’t open here and won’t be anytime soon. Just Watch is infinitely better. Too bad Rotten Tomatoes picked this loser.

Boooo to old update

Like many are saying, old version was better. My complaint is for 2, generally, different reasons than most seem to complain about. One- the old version used to have a feature where it clearly listed movies that were just released to dvd. It also had upcoming dvd releases and you could scroll backwards to see what had been released and on what date... With two toddlers we don’t get to watch movies often so it was nice to scroll thru to see what had been released in the prior month. Now the dvd release doesn’t have much reasoning behind it. 2- when searching for a movie you have to spell it exactly right and even then movies don’t show up unless you press “enter” and search.... I really miss the old version. I mainly use IMDB now, I just like this for the rotten tomatoes function.

Keeps crashing

This app keeps on crashing, every time I try and read reviews of a movie, the app will crash. Please fix, app at the moment is unusable.

Useless in Covid Seat Selection

The app shows “X” if seat is either reserved for social distancing or if it occupied. With no distinction between the two how can anyone reserve a seat and know they are distanced vs next to someone. Makes the app pretty useless for ticket purchase.

I have used this app with great satisfaction up until recently. I have an account with Flixster that I used to track and review all of the movies that I saw. However now it is no longer keeping a list of my rated and reviewed movies. It says I have not rated any movies when I go to “my ratings”. Although when I open a specific movie that I have rated it has saved my rating. I have sent a number of help inquiries with no response whatsoever. I sure hope they are able to fix this issue or I will most likely stop using an app that I once loved.
