This app was a pleasure to use from scheduling all the way to completion of the service. The technicians that arrived (in the FIXD branded van) were professional and prompt. With the app I was able to watch them get closer to my house for the service. They took care of the HVAC checkup and washed off the units. When they were done they walked me through their findings (everything was within spec).

Our a/c went out this week. I heard about this company mid afternoon, and I was able to get a two hour time window for them to come out the next day. I was called before they arrived to let me know they were coming. They came at the beginning of the two hour time window in a marked vehicle. Very professional. Gave great service!!!!! Got our a/c back up and running immediately with a temporary fix until we decided which solution we would like to go with. We were given quotes before they left. Even explained how each solution would work, so we can make an educated decision!!!! The app allows you to see who is coming and once they are in route where they are at. This is a great company and a great app!!!! Highly recommend!!

After my 2nd repair job this month I think you might be a Fixd customer for life. Earlier this month I had two shower faucets fixed and this past week had a Fixd plumber change the location of an outdoor water spicket. The entire process from booking a time window on the app to tracking my technician in route to in-app payment was seamless. The techs were courteous and wore shoe covers when in my house which was appreciated. Pricing was reasonable. I love how the app maintains a record of my repair history. Highly recommend.

If you are thinking about giving Fixd a try as your home warranty company, you might want to think twice and go with someone more reputable like American Home Shield. The concept is great in theory, but unfortunately they over promise and under deliver. We recently made the mistake and it has been a nightmare getting them to send repair services out and cover repairs. We wanted to help a small Texas based company grow their business, but now we are regretting it and paying the price.

We bought this home warranty hoping for peace of mind, but it has been anything but. I’m writing this as our A/C is out for the 5th time in 4 months, and the quickest they can get somebody to look at it is two more days. We will have to move our four month old son out once again, and incur more costs to deal with that. This service has been a colossal waste of money and I beg anyone not to buy it. They consistently lie about when the quickest they can get there, usually telling you 3-4 days, and then change their story when you call again angry. Even the tune-ups cost you, which we were led to believe they were included. Even so, what a waste of money that was, since we have had 4 breakdowns since. The last guy flat out told us that we need a new unit since the effectiveness of our old system has degraded to the point where it gets to 90 degrees during the day when set at 76. They only replace specific parts as they break and charge you $50 each time. He recommended that we lower the temperature to 70 so that it only climbs to the low 80s during the day when it’s over 100 (which is every day here). I know it’s partially our fault for buying a house with an old system, but we purchased their best plan in hopes of staving off the cost of a new unit for a few years. Between the cost for the warranty, the numerous services, extra energy costs, and costs for moving out 6 times, we could have easily paid for at least half of a new unit. We are going to get this fixed independently and write this company off as a huge waste of money. Please learn from our mistake and take your money elsewhere.
