I absolutely love this setup and app. It has made smoking even more enjoyable. I have a pellet smoker and this completes the package. The smoker holds temps tight, but this give me the piece of mind and allows me to probe several pieces of meat. Only issue i had was receiving alerts after the unit was turned off.

If you cook outside on a grill, smoker, offset, pellet cooker, ceramic cooker or something a fireboard will monitor up to 6 ambient or internal temperature probes. The app allows alerts to be sent through app notifications, emails or text for a variety of custom temp settings. With an additional drive cable and fan it will control the temp of your charcoal cooker. Overall the entire setup is high quality and a great addition to any cooker.

Great hardware and great app to support it! Drive hardware and software is working very well. Only suggestion would be to have a Widget with all temps.

If you want the ultimate in peace of mind, dead nuts temp accuracy and ability to control a stick burner temp then get the FireBoard. Their customer service is the best. Great folks who are continually improving their product offerings. Can’t say enough great things about them!

Great app / product. As another user mentioned I would love to be able to add pics to the session notes. Also, an iOS widget to quickly check the temps would make this perfect. Needs ability to customize preset cool settings for channels. Alerts reliability is suspect. I get a notification but not an audible alert.

Fireboard Labs answered my call about a temperature probe that I was afraid had gone bad. I was willing to buy a new one as I knew it was out of warranty. Instead, they asked me to box up everything I owned, send it in at their expense, for evaluation. Within 4 hours of them receiving my kit, Stephen called to inform me they will be shipping a new pro kit out via ups. It arrived the next day and works perfectly. Until the probe had gone bad, which may have been my fault, I was 100% satisfied with the product, the app, and the company. They have my recommendation for anyone looking to monitor temperature for any reason. Incredible customer service. And made in the USA!

FireBoard is by far the best leave in bbq thermometer on the market. The accompanying app is attractive and easy to use. The only thing missing is an Apple Watch app to make the product complete.

Accurate, intuitive, only a one tweak I would make

I just got a Fireboars for Christmas and love it so far. My father in law asked me to to a Prime rib on his Weber Genesis. The temperature control on those is pretty finicky, and the ambient temperature probe made it a lot easier to dial it in. I’m glad FireBoard put in the time and effort to make a great thermometer AND app. A lot of companies focus on just one aspect. The only tweak I would love to see is the ability to add time specific notes. Maybe a hard press on the time graph to pull up a note, “we did xyz at this time stamp” I think that would make the usage of the app for future cooks a lot easier and enjoyable.

Looks impressive, needs an Apple Watch app with Siri support!

Just received my unit, the alerts are exactly what I was looking for with overnight cooks. My initial concerns: where’s the Siri support? And where is the Apple Watch app? Siri support I understand taking a minute, but an Apple Watch app seems like a no brainer. Who wouldn’t want to be able to monitor their cooker (and potentially control the temp of said cooker) from their watch??

This is by far the best cloud thermometer on the market. Combined with the FireBoard drive, I can control the temperature from anywhere in the world. The graphs and all previous sessions are saved for future reference. If you’re looking for a WiFi thermometer look no further.
