I had to use this app not knowing what to expect . I lost my iPhone and luckily I had this app installed already . I just signed into my apple account on my pc( Windows 10) and found my phone was where I was working during the day. I had assumed that it was in the front seat of our work truck that was parked there overnight . But when I showed up in the morning I found my phone on the grass in the customers back yard . Exactly where the marker said my phone was . It in the truck where I expected to find it . Great app

Lost my iPhone somewhere around my house/car. Used the app to TRY to find it. Map showed phone location in the middle of the street, near my property. When I tried to add a specific location to the phone after I found it in my house without the help of the app, I updated the location (app showed “no location” for the phone. app selected house # ...., my neighbor, not my address! And it won’t allow changes. Even after I found my phone, I tried the app: it said the phone was “offline” (it wasn’t....had bars showing internet connection). Said the app would make a sound on the lost phone once it was online. Huh??? It was online the whole time. Disappointed in the app.

The map to walking is 10 seconds delayed so you never no if you are close or not

This would be the second time I’ve tried to help finding a list I phone. I think the app is good but it ABSOLUTELY NEEDS a feature where you can play the sound even if the I phone is off. I mean tracking the location as well would be great. But in tonight’s case, the phone was shut off by the person who stole it, they turned it on and I was able to track it. But because it was in “lost mode” they turned it off and when I went and confronted the apartment it was in. There was no way to prove it was there (although I knew it was, we were right on top of the location) and playing that sound would have been the best thing wether the phone was off or on! PLEASE try to make this as a trigger where it activated when that sound button is pressed. Clearly we use this because it’s an emergency and are trying to find the phone. This would help so much more for users who’s phone has died or someone turns off to avoid the owner finding it!

Thank you so much for having this feature, used it through my Mac to find it!! I live on a multi acre home and was located buried under snow and because of the sound feature I was able to find my iPhone XS! 5/5
