Great game but a lot of issues

This game is fun and is a great way to waste time... when your not waiting on a download. Every few days you are waiting on yet another 5 minute download to just launch the game, as many as 3 times a week. And when you go into adventure each stage has a 30 second to 1 minute download. This takes drastically away from the game. I have found that when playing a mobile game I usually only have about 5 minutes, and to have to wait for 5 minutes just to get through the download I suddenly don’t have time to play. But when it’s working it’s really a great game.

I’ve been playing this game since Day 1. The developers are greedy, it’s becoming Pay to Play. And every single time I open to play, I have to download up to 2.5 GB of updates. Why does this game need to be updated 3 times a day?!?!

I thought I downloaded this game two days ago and all I get is download this required and that required haven’t been able to play

I’d love to play this game, but every time I open it, I need to download 1.5gb of data even after I just downloaded the data. It’s absurd. I just downloaded the data last night, no update today and I’m out and about and it tells me there is another massive download. Don’t waste your time unless you are watching tv or something while it takes 20+ minutes to download the game every time you want to open it.

I would absolutely love to continue playing this game but it’s starting to become very Pay 2 Play. They added in the Chocobo Slots which is essentially gambling for items like metal cactuars and summon tickets. The only time you get the grand prize is if you manage to match up three of either Rain, Lasswell or Fina but it can also screw over. There are now 10+1 summons that cost a lovely $50 in order to use. They added in something similar to loot boxes in which you have to purchase a certain (and expensive) bundle for a key to open a summoning box. And now they’re charging $45 to do specific 11 summons. Apparently this was only for the Dragon Quest crossover but still scummy. I’m also disappointed with what they decided to do with the Five Star Select tickets. It actually irritates me knowing that when Ardyn (my favorite Final Fantasy character) becomes available globally I won’t be able to use to those tickets to get him, I’ll only be able to get his prism. I guess I’ll to have save my Lapis when he becomes available and try my luck on the Step Up summons to get him ?

If you want to download updates everyday, this is the game for you.

My data has been corrupted and I tried to restore and redownload the game and I have gotten nowhere with it. I don’t what’s going on right now. The game is awesome but because I can’t continue my story and keep playing I’m a have to give it two stars till my account is resolved.

After being a daily player for over 2 years I can say the game is fun to play. However having to remove and redownload the game app I could no longer get into my account. Gave customer support all the info the requested, purchase orders, prices, dates. Jumped through every hoop their customer support asked me to and after playing the game for over 700 consecutive days and spending well over $1000 I was basically told tough luck. Never again will I play any Gumi made game. Thieves as far as I am concerned.

Love this game, however if you want to play it you should bind your account or it may be deleted. The story is very good and I like the graphics however the game in the past have deleted my data.
