I keep my photos on a NAS, and this app works perfectly with WebDAV to access them anywhere. It shows thumbnails too. Highly recommended.
I actually got two apps after searching for apps that will allow SMB connections. THIS is the one! Having access to all my drives from my iPad is great. AND if you have an Apple TV, there is a version for it also. Being a photographer it’s nice to see my images on my 4K tv. Reads all my Canon raw files! The ONLY thing that I’m not sure about for the iPad version is the menu tab for “iCloud”. It does not show my iClouds files. I have looked at all the documentation and really see nothing referring to iCloud. I see how to add stuff like Box, DropBox, One Drive, etc., but nothing for iCloud. Developer, am I missing something? NOT a biggie but I am curious.
It hacks into your network and does not even support external hdd. Refund me thanks.
This app is absolutely wonderful and I use it daily but I have hit one snag that limits my use of the app. There needs to be AFP server support so you can access your Time Capsule drive remotely away from your home/office. As my Time Capsule is my primary remote server it would be quite nice to be able to access the drive remotely via my iPhone for quick file management.
Like not other app, just Amazing, love this File Browser, still using it after years, today is Feb-26-2019
I am so confused. I thought this app was supposed to read what’s on my flash drive but I have looked all over the app and cannot find anything that shows a drive that has been plugged in or the contents on it. I am so frustrated.
