Pretty good, but still needs more polishing

The app and interface are great. But the compendium is far from complete. It would be a much better resource if it had all the details in the compendium.

Love the app; I’ve got ideas

Thanks for making this app so great I really enjoy it. The fact that you can add items, creatures, character races, classes, spells, etc to it manually is amazing. Or get a character sheet linked to your printer is so cool. I do have a few ideas for you to add like updated the character races to include the unearthed arcana or add all the feats that are in the game so far. You could add the class archetypes that you left out like Assassin, Arcane Trickster, or one of the others. Other than that I love the app and hope you can keep making it better every day.

Nearly Perfect

This app is hands down the app I recommend to players. I use it a lot for my Adventure League and for creating ally NPCs for my campaign. The app only comes with the SRD information but with a google search for "fight club compendium" you can find community compendiums to get all the info. This is much faster and accurate compared to WotC online compendium which is slow because it relies on internet. If WotC was smart they would buy Lion's Den for their tech. Back to the review. It is definitely worth the money to upgrade as the free version only allows limited characters and limited items. It automatically calculates +/- when you choose which items you want have equipped (thanks to the suplemental compendiums). The best feature is easy access to spell list. You can access each spell quickly for your character, no longer having to spend so much time looking up a spell in a book or sorting through many many spell cards. In the past I wrote about the interface being cramped, but they have fixed the typography and spacing allowing the interface to flow a lot better (great job Lion’s Den) A feature I would love is split/multitask capabilities. This would make it easier to use with Game Master 5e and other tools at the same time. Also the last update has issues exporting the character sheets to PDF as the text no longer fits in the text boxes. Would love to see that fixed.

As DnD player apps go on the App Store, barely anything comes close in how comprehensively it covers and applies the mechanics of the game. Fight Club 5 is by no means perfect. Like many reviewers say, there is still work that can be done. There's good community support and as far as consumer friendliness goes, I think Lion's Den are much better than many developers in that regard. Get it, try it, and if you like what you see, buy it. I certainly did.

Almost there

ShovelBum82

A good looking interface and somewhat easy to use, however... - The stats don’t always add up right. - Feats always aren’t factored in when selected. This is from trying to have my barbarian set up, no homebrew just a basic Totem Warrior. My health shows up wrong, my AC shows up wrong.

Was good but now my compendium is messed up.

This was a great app until the last update in which it deleted half of the information in the classes. Things like spell tables, proficiencies, and versatility options(ex: Sorcerous origin) are all gone. Please release the complete default compendium in the next update. Because other wise my app is totally useless.

Fantastic Tool for 5e D&D

Great for managing character sheets and as a reference if you download the freely available supplementary data. Any complaints I have are minor quibbles. If you are a technophilic gamer, download it immediately.

Best app

Patchnasty312

Made my paper sheets mostly obsolete, keeps everything in order and it helps bring in NPC’s for the GM app

The Best Character Sheet app around

There’s not much to say other than that. I’ve tried many character apps but this one works much better than all of them. The only thing that I would like added is the ability to create folders to help organize characters.

Amazing

Love this app. Once you upload the data it's amazing. Don't forget to upgrade it and also buy the D&D books - support things your love.
