Great App, Minor Flaws

ChickenSaysMoo

While this app is really fantastic and, thankfully, aesthetically pleasing, it does lack some features I’d like to see. Having imported a few compendiums, I have an insane amount of resources at hand- however, it can be a little irritating to find them. I’d really like to see a search feature in the future to search for spells, items, etc. across all tables rather than forcing us to do it by file, especially when certain spells aren’t particular to a certain class. It’s possible, yet so agonizing. All in all, it’s a small price to pay for convenience and smoothness.

?so worth it

When I first got the app, I thought it was kinda weird. But when I walked through the character setup, I was in awe. The sad thing is, you only get one character, so I got the premium version, and the characters just kept coming! You get full access to the compodium AND unlimited number of characters, and all for a cheap price! I use this app for all sorts of things, but mostly for development for my novel characters. I ❤️ fc!

Awesome

Zobocoa

Love this app as a portable character storage matrix. Makes everything easy to manipulate and creating new codex entries makes my life so much simpler. Keep up the great work. (Though it’d be nice if you could input the unearthed arcana data…)

Character Sheets do not print correctly

Budjet

Please fix the character sheet pdf and print/share features and I will revisit this review. Right now the sheets do not show the statistics and the words are in the wrong fields.

Best app for 5ed

kadenhunt

I would just like to say this app is the best app for 5ed dnd. I have recently got a droid tablet to help with my campaign that I dm and the goal was to let one of my players use it as she is a Druid and I felt it help with her spells but I realized after that I couldn’t get fight club on the Droid so I went looking for something similar and to be honest I didn’t find a single one in this apps league. Only bad thing I have to say is make a fight club for droid please but other then that fantastic app and I will forever use this app for my dnd needs.

Don’t waste the download.

Momoclay

Missing information (spells and items), doesn’t save edits, overall unusable. Deleting immediately.

The perfect app to calculate everything

Fizzor

This app is exactly what I’ve been looking for to create my D&D 5e characters. As a techie I prefer to do everything on my devices and this app allows me to have a fully fleshed out character sheet with all the appropriate stats and abilities perfectly outlined in an easy and understandable manner. The only downside to this app is there’s a big learning curve to using the app. It’s hard to understand that a lot of the abilities you get like jack of all trades requires you to modify the feature in order for the app to actually use it in its calculations. But honestly this makes sense due to the large learning curve that is required for any table top rpg. I absolutely love this app and any issues I have with it often are resolved by the developers and are consistently making the app even better!

Free version is worthless

WiikendWarrior84

Very limited. I tried to make a Cleric but the only available domain was Life. Not a good way to convince me this is worth purchasing a full version of.

What this app needs

Bdgfthj

I think this is the best app for characters but to make it a MUST have is 1. Opening area with characters is side by side but after 2 characters the portraits are barely visible. 1. Allow first character to have portrait visible then swipe to next full portrait so on 2. User friendly. Add the contents so people don’t need to for backgrounds spells new classes or sub classes

Great app

Nick & Mel

I’ve been using this app for a little while now, and it is currently my go to for rolling a new character and playing. The recent iteration has fixed much of the difficulties faced previously. It does require a little outside hep to be fully functional, but once that has been done the app has everything at your finger tips. Some things do take a little while to fiddle to get to work or figure out, but it is simple enough. I wish the conditions section had the option to select spells and then apply all the conditions of that spell. As a counter point to some who might say that some of the stuff is a little tedious to type in you self, it is no more tedious than writing a whole character sheet up on paper. Plus I like the ability to have the full description of my ability rather than a short hand version with PHB page number to go look up. Overall I love the app. Everyone at my table has it and uses it in some form (our Druid has a deck of spells that uses for her prepared spells, as she prefers that) and I’d recommend it to anyone who plays D&D
