Getting Less Profitable

With gas at $3.00 a gallon, it’s getting harder to make any money doing this.
Favor figured my value was around $1.65/h for being a customer

There was a system issue where I was kicked off line right after having delivered a customers items. I also noticed an item of the customers had rolled under the seat in my vehicle. A glitch happened while I was logging in that changed the hours I am put it I was going to work that day from 12 hours to one hour while the screen changed to the waiting for order screen. I promptly messaged the support department letting them know of the glitch I saw, and that I wanted to make sure it wouldn’t be a problem. The agent said “Okay! So that is running on demand, after the hour is up, you'll be able to add more hours, I cannot add the hours on for you at this time. I replied “So there will be Absolutely no problem with me continuing to work after this hour is up correct?” And the agent responded with simply correct. After arriving back at my waiting spot,I noticed the customers item left, and I also noticed I was kicked off line and I was not being allowed to log back in. I spent well over 2 1/2 hours on this job whenI told support about the ladies item a manager got involved and told me I should throw it away. So not only does favor not care about the environment and unnecessarily throwing things away especially new items. So my 3 hours of time concerned about the customers items, The vehicle I pay for, gas, self employment tax, living and health benefits, retirement, etc; Favor seems to think that $2.75 an hour is what this human beings time was worth (and that’s before taxes, so more like $1.85 is what Favor deemed my work was worth.

App is terrible something went wrong with the application and I can’t do anything on my side to fix it. I’ve sent 4 emails within the last 3 weeks and have yet to receive a response I called their customer support number (855-623-3287 which apparently doesn’t work anymore. It is impossible to get in contact with an actual human. Even a chat bot would be better than no response at all.

I have tried different delivery companies, they both seemed to instantly provide earnings for each delivery at the time of completing each order unless they compensated for miscellaneous pays. Favor leaves me hanging around into the next day on when the customer decides to pay. That’s not very promising or motivating.

I’ve been a runner for 2 going on 3 years and while I made relatively good money, I was blamed for everything Favor did wrong so let this be a warning to any prospective runners. You are at fault by default. If a bug occurs the support team won’t help you. They have the capability to force the app to move forward a step but they will instead tell you to fix it yourself. They won’t listen to your explanation about what is happening on your end. They will, however, flood you with information about anything except what you need. You are replaceable and once you’ve had enough, some other desperate sucker will take your place.

They don’t pay you the promos, if you invest time on a run abd it is van en you loose they don’t give a penny difference from doordash that at least they give you 50%. I did a promo they haven’t pay it yet t debt the evidence abs still has been a week of changing emails an nothing. The only thing appreciate it customers some of them are great but definitely this has a long way to go - just keep it to run without promos and events that might not get cancel otherwise you will regret to run for them.
