Terrible experience
creeping in
Very difficult to use as kept voiding seat selection and stating errors. I had to leave app several times and go back in to finally get it to work.

Fandango is user friendly quick and easy to interphase PayPal or credit card payments. Even first timers will have now troubles navigating. Very functional. Convenience and seat selection makes this an outstanding service. I only use Fandango as nobody dies it better.
No gift card wallet, Partial show descriptions

My family knows I love going to the movies, so they give me gift cards. This app does not allow you to enter/redeem all your gift card numbers and keep a wallet of running balances. Only when you purchase a ticket are you able to enter in a gift card number. If the purchase is less than the gift card amount, it will track the balance then, but it’s restricted to that one single card. You are not able to redeem all your cards at once. Not sure why Fandango can’t do this! Every major retailer, like Starbucks, does this. Also, when I’m browsing to see what shows I want to see, the movie summaries are inadequate, often getting truncated mid sentence. They’re like tweets that are limited to 280 characters.

This app is good for buying tickets when it works but the big issue is that it usually doesn’t show any movie times even when I know for a fact that they are available for specific dates from other sites

Sold me tickets to a movie that wasn’t showing, tried to blame it on the movie theater even though the theater website did not say that movie was showing, and to top it off they didn’t have the decency to refund their convenience fee, so I lost and the movie theater lost but they got to keep their money even though they made the mistake. At least the whole thing led to me discovering the movie theater app so I can just buy directly from them now.
Charging me, but no movie

Me and my boyfriend like this app but the longer I use it, the more I dislike it. We have now purchased 3 movies probably out of 10, and those three times we where charged but we couldn’t watch the movie. It was as if we never purchased it but fandango took our money. We contacted them and all they had to say is, “call Xbox to refund you”
App glitch allowed unauthorized charges

They’re app glitches when trying to reserve seats for my daughter and I. So I bought them at the cinema website. Found out fandango charged me 2 separate times when I never even made it to the payment page. Customer service is terrible and unwilling to refund. Deleted app. Saving on future fees I fired I’ll save in the long run anyways. Pointless service with extra fees and poor customer service. 1/2 star
