Highly annoying with the notifications never going away even after I checked them hours ago. Never updates anything new until around every 3 hours or so and when I scroll up to refresh, I get connectivity issues. App has crashed multiple times

My messages in notifications will not unmark it after I open it and return. It still shows a mark that I have not read it.

I don’t know why I bother writing anything. Nobody will read this. I’m being forced to update even though the version I’m using is fine. All stories are still in the order FB wants. Who the heck is the customer here? People have been clamoring for the chronological order of postings for FB, IG, and anything else these “people” make. But, nobody listens. I said it before, and I’ll say it again: We knew that monopoly wasn't good, but this is ridiculous! Facebook, get your act together. Why do I bother!!! ???

Notification problem

Since the last update I am having problems with Facebook remembering which notifications I have already looked at. Each time I close down Facebook the number of notifications on the Facebook icon returns to the number it had been before I went through to look at them and when I go to that page they are all highlighted as if I had never looked at them. HELP!!!

Why are you not fixing issues with FB for IPad? This new update Aug 2018 when you click on a notification the blue dot doesn’t go away. And the highlighted color is gone! Plus issues for the past year have gone unfixed! Can’t go to birthdays, most every link is not working! Fix this!!

Some people don’t understand that free speech is the very foundation on which America stands. This applies perfectly to Facebook. Banning people’s options (no matter how far fetched) is wrong and very destructive to the free dialogue of a nation. Get your act together.

Just updated FB app on iPhone 7 ... now I'm not seeing pics upload with statuses. I see descriptions of items, but no pics. ???

This app is complete trash. It’s size is due to all of the spyware it uses to sell your interests to advertisers and retailers. The functionality is only as user-friendly as they want it to be and it was obviously programmed by an invalid. Also, welcome to Mussolini’s Italy. They will censor and ban anything they don’t want you to hear.
