Out of 47 products scanned, two produced results. The other 45 commonly used popular products were not in the database. I removed the app, it’s not worth using the space on my phone.

They need to update their “inventory” everything I’ve scanned can’t be found...and it’s pretty known/used items, even Bath and Body Works products. Please get someone more involved on your app and update what products it’s familiar with.

I scanned a dozen products from toothpaste to hair care to cleaners. Name brand items - both “natural” and regular. Only 1 thing showed up. Not as useful as I was hoping.

I am so appreciative to EWG for the work they are doing but wish they would tell us how to use the scoring system on this app! Even the video online just skips over the meanings of the ratings!

I really want to use this! I love that they are working to help consumers make better decisions about the ingredients in products. I rated this a 3 because half of the products I own can not be found on the app and do not scan. Also there is nothing that explains their grading scale! What does fair or limited mean!? Makes no sense. If they could make this better, add more products, and explain the scale I would be all about it! Looking forward to upgraded versions of this app.

They do not provide the information for very commonly used products in big name super stores. Like Clorox is not mentioned or Tide not even Burt’s and bees. It’s sad to see this targets more of a higher income based group and not the middle to low income people.

The scanner doesn’t work but that’s okay because it never has the product I’m looking for. I have used the online website for years and will continue. EWG does great work. Please fix the app so more people have access to this important information and can spend their money wisely.

The app shows only expensive brands that normal people can’t afford. I like the idea, but needs more products & show more readily available products.

The concept and ease of use of this app is FANTASTIC. My one and only problem and the reason I saw 3 stars rather than 5 is that 90% of the products I search are not yet in the app. The product list needs to be expanded to more “crunchy” and “green washed” products so that I can make a decision quickly on whether I want to purchase a product or not. ?
