App is easy to navigate

App is easy to navigate and very informative. The downside is that the database needs updating. It’s clear that EWG struggles to keep up- wish that updating the database was a top priority.

I learned about the EWG through the dirty dozen and clean 15 list. I access this list a lot online and thought that it would be on the app for easier access. I don’t know why this valuable information is missing from the app. I also feel like the products on the app are cherry picked since most of the common products are not listed.

The older Dirty dozen app you could easily see a list of the clean 15 or dirty dozen now I have to search through a ton of categories, etc Please update the old version it was so nice to be able to look at it on my phone quickly in the supermarket.

I was encouraged to download the app after reading on this app’s website, the alarming amount of roundup, the weed killer found in Quaker steel cut oats. As per the website, this amount is double and triple of whats considered safe for children. Yet when you scan the product using this app, it gets a score of 1.5 from a score of 1 to 10 with 1 being the best score. The app makes no mention of the ingredient in roundup. If it’s unsafe for children to eat, it should be noted in the score and the score should reflect the risk of cancer when consuming the active ingredient in roundup.
App is Worthless

This app has been by developed by those who barely passed cheap or free Software Development lessons online. You are better off going to Google and typing in “EWG and [whatever product you are researching].” You simply cannot find anything in this app. They need a major overall and have continually ignored user comments to do just that.

If I could give a zero rating, I would. This is the second or third time I have downloaded this app and no changes or improvements have been made at all to this app. Downloaded the app to check for sunscreen ratings. The app is useless and does not work at all. Not one of the product list created by EWG in the app works; every list gives the same message “there are no products found” and none of the search methods pulls any products. The app is unfortunately extremely useless.
Better than the EWG Food app

This, at least, works, whereas the other Food app doesn’t. EWG is updating this app more regularly, but the list is still far smaller than EWG’s own web site. If you have to be online to look up a product, you might as well go to the full site.

This app has a great concept, but the info on the app does not match the website ratings and most of the recommend products don’t exist anymore and aren’t available for purchase. The databases needed to be updated and synced.
where are the household products

No catalog of household products. Lots of missing data. Bring the app up to speed to match the entire website.

I absolutely love the purpose of this app! I can see this blowing up! I’m reading old reviews I hope all the technicalities have been worked out I will be using this A LOT!
