One minor but unnecessary annoyance

Mommysaidso

Why is it that when you tap a part of a note to edit it, the cursor goes to the place it was last, instead of where you tapped like every single other iOS program that uses the keyboard? No other program does this, and it makes no sense. That's where i tapped, that where i want to edit. But it always takes me so far up the document and i have to find my place again, without exiting the narrow keyboard view. Other than some minor conceptual gripes i have with the program as a whole that can’t, and probably shouldn’t be changed, this is my one problem with this program, and it’s not a hard one to fix.

Bugs!

I have used Evernote for many years and although I have had issues occasionally, their support is usually responsive and helpful. Because it’s been a helpful way to keep track of projects, etc, I finally started subscribing. They just did a major overhaul and changed Evernote’s appearance. I am running into bugs and although I have had several replies from support asking me for more information and screen shots, no one has gotten back to me a second time. You might want to hold off on subscribing until they get the app running correctly. 2/13/2021 I still use Evernote because i have so much of my personal info, hobby info and work info saved in it. If a better note keeping system came along, that could migrate my Evernote data accurately, I would switch in a hot second. My main complaint is the lack of customer support since their last rebuild, about one year ago.

Security is a joke

Account has been hacked, breached and just overall screwed with since the beginning. It is literally the weakest security link in all the apps I have used. If you use this for business might as well just post it all on Twitter or Reddit if you are using this app. It is so bad I use this app to only remind me to change passwords on everything. Only reason it gets 1 star... wish you could give it negative stars.

Lost data and working too slow

Mids bids

I used this app from long time but from last few updates it’s work too slow. scroll not work properly, lost of entire meeting data, take more time to copy and paste.

How can the iOS app still be this bad?

So I’ve never been a big fan of the Evernote app, even though I love it on desktop. I was hopeful that the newest update would fix some of my qualms. It’s somehow worse now? It’s so clunky right now it’s almost unusable due to the frustration it causes. Hopefully some patches to come soon?

Can’t reset password

No ads preferred

Evernote won’t let me log in on my iPad, saying that my password is expired. But using the link sent me via email to reset the password, as soon as the link opens, it freezes the iPad and it can only be fixed by closing Safari. So, I can’t use the app, period!

A once great app becomes unusable

slayin_n00bz

I have used evernote for years to keep and organize notes. Unfortunately, it has gotten significantly more buggy and difficult to use in recent years. It was still worth using though. However, I just recently updated my iPhone and Mac and had to update Evernote. It is now completely unusable. The search functions are completely inoperable—difficult to use, unreliable—and on top of that it is SLOW. The slowness is what finally got to me. I couldn’t do anything without it lagging for 5/10/20 seconds—and sometimes longer. Had to decide it’s no longer worth it and am now just using Apple’s “Notes” app.

Used to be Great. Getting Worse With Every Update

What was once a great system for notes is becoming a hassle. This app has flow interrupting pop ups asking me to upgrade.

NEVERnote - Almost

Another update and AGAIN the Reminder App Badge is STILL broken. Listen guys, I get it, you’re too stupid to have this work the first time, but after 4 updates it’s still as if you’re unable to find your own rear ends with both hands and a flashlight? This isn’t difficult guys - your app ALWAYS did this before the latest “let’s destroy our company” app update: 1. An App Badge shouldn’t appear until the date AND time have been broached. If I want to be Reminded at 10am I shouldn’t have a badge before then (12:00am, which your lazy design currently does EVERY time). If that’s too “over your heads” just check out EVERY OTHER Reminder-type software ever created. I believe it’s possible that you’ll figure it out at some point. 2. The Reminder setting menu needs a day of the week reference in it, NOT JUST the month, date and time. Is it POSSIBLE that I might not know off the top of my head what date is a Monday 3 months from now? And is it POSSIBLE that my Reminders might have more to do with certain days of the week than they do with dates? Hmmm. Yeah, I bet that’s (again) why all other programs built for this kind of thing do that. Get a clue Evernote. You’re so close to becoming NEVERnote to me.
