Too many features

Evernote has added too many features over the years. Feature bloat + the lack of consistency between platforms has resulted in me seeking out other options.

New version is so disappointing. It takes like a minute to open this app both on iphone and my brand new ipad. Not surprised because new desktop app is also trash. Still using legacy because of that. I regret i renewed my annual subscription recently.

The new updates are trying to ruin the app... trying to make it less professional and less capable .. trying to make it like apple notes

I can’t believe that they released an app on iOS that is so buggy. In fact, I can’t believe how buggy their entire ecosystem has become, from web to Mac to iOS. Someone should get fired. Even the send a report to Evernote doesn’t work.

not for ipad

as a college student, i’m trying out taking notes on my ipad with apple pencil and this app complicated note taking for me so much. for starters I am not a fan of that write to text feature, i would get really annoyed when it would correct “misspelled” words. it also saves online? i would go back the next day and realize half my notes didn’t save. overall i do not recommend this app for college students/ipad

Notes disappeared, tracks users

I just had my notes disappear. The titles are there but the notes are gone. Instead of my note there is a message to refresh. Unfortunately that doesn’t work. Tried multiple times. Currently Evernote has been trying to sync some small files I shared from iPhone into the app. It’s been syncing these 5 files for a full week now! These are small pdf files. I can no longer share files with the app as they just get added to the never sync queue.

I love the app and have paid for the program for 6+ years, but recently they updated the way you view PDF and take notes on PDFs with an apple pen. It's horrible. I sent them my feedback and my difficulties using PDFs now, and they have yet to get back to me. I messaged them three times about this through their customer service. Still nothing. I would stop paying for the software, but I have had it too long, and it would be so difficult to transfer the amount of information I have now. ?‍♂️ I'm frustrated. I rated four stars, but I might lower as the frustrations grow.

Broken, again!

Evernote took a terrible turn for the worse, at the last update! It is very SLOW. I have a brand new iPhone and iPad, and since the app update, the app is really clunky. WHY?? Considering what we pay every year, you would think they could employ better help.

For an app on the market this long I’d expect some more polish

My wife and I have been using this since Wunderlist closed to create and share grocery lists, that is it. It constantly doesn’t sync, replaces lists with old ones, and overall has clunky performance when editing text wasting hours of time for us, and a load of frustration as these problems occur as one of us heads to the store. I would likely go out of my way to not recommend this app for anyone that plans to share lists or notes.

App freezes all the time, iPhone 11. I’ve been using this for years on my phone and no longer can. Support please help
