What a joke

Daniever

Premium only membership offered in 6, 12 or 24 month agreement. How pathetic. So that basically admit their site is terrible as 6 months is the minimum membership length. No thank you. Way overpriced for a crummy 2-3 matches per day that are mainly unattractive people with 0 shared interest. Never use this one. Too expensive and outdated.

Do not sign up for longer timeframes

Spremkumar

I signed up for a year but found someone on a different dating app and decided to go exclusive within two months of being on eHarmony. So called the customer service number to cancel and see if I can get a refund of the unused 10 months or at least just not get charged for the remaining 2 out of the 4 payments I made but apparently you can't cancel until all payments are made and there are NO refunds! That's a horrible business model to be so rigid! I wasn't very impressed with the service either! Would stick to the free apps! That's where I found the best and more engaging matches anyway!

Waste of money!

I believe my matches are dead or something. No views. No messages. No nothing. What a waste of money. If you could at least know when someone was last active you could save time by not looking at their profile.

Not a good company!

fixitkit

Opened an account, they canceled it the next day for no apparent reason! After many emails and several days later they sent me a very generic response and will not let me have an account. I lost my wife, I am a good man, I have no bad history, I have a nice family, a house and a good career. Why would they reject a perfect customer?

Very displeased so far but I will update again

?????

They took my money but will not post my photos (they are all of my face so there’s nothing inappropriate going on). They gave me 10 matches but only 2 are attractive. I think one might be special needs. They won’t let me use the “what if” section, even though I have filled out all of my preferences. This is my first time paying for a dating service and I feel scammed. I will give it more of a chance since I have committed to 6 months and update this review later... Update: they approved my photos. I widened my preferences to be accepting of anything and they still will not show me the what If section. I have 0 messages and 0 people have favorited me. Meanwhile on a free app I have 1200 people who swiped me. What am I paying for here?

Terrible for Men

I decided to be an idiot and pay for an entire year upfront because eHarmony doesn’t offer anything else that’s realistically priced. I was hopeful that this site would be far better than free sites, but it’s worse. As a guy, I’m “smiled” at probably 50+ women and none of them have winked back. Seeing as there’s an option to “ignore” a smile, I would see if the woman wasn’t interested, but I don’t see this for any of the smiles. That means that 100% of the women I’ve smiled at are non paying members, who can’t see my profile. What’s the point of all of this if I can’t even have a single conversation?! To force people to pay $150 just to look at profiles of people that can’t see you is pointless and downright a scam. eHarmony used to offer a guarantee, but they seem to have eliminated that, which means I have a $150 membership to a useless app. Heed my warning and find another app. I’ve had far better luck on Plenty of Fish than on here.

Way to much money

BBM9m

I really want to try this app but why must you have to pay so much money just to receive messages? It’s so hard meeting people now a days and I’m trying to find a good dating site. I work hard for my money, I shouldn’t have to use it on a dating site. Please fix this! Idk how anyone can afford it

Less than one match per week

jakb920

This app is easy to use. Unfortunately, the eharmony matching systems gives you very few matches unless you are willing to travel a. Very long distance. I had my match preferences set at within 120 miles and I was told that was being too specific even though I live in the suburbs of one of the 3 largest cities in my state. I was also told that wanting to date Christian men was too specific. Since I am a practicing Christian, it would be difficult to be in a long term relationship with a non-believer. Finally, if you are a female over 50 their pool is very slim unless you are willing to date someone 10+ years your senior. Bottom line, this service is not worth your money

Poor app performance, feels like gym membership

Real Human

For a company with as much experience as this one, I’m surprised by how poorly this app performs. It takes a noticeably long time for things to load, and I routinely experience bizarre behavior when something fails to load properly. Besides that, I’ve spent more than a month religiously going through each match everyday, closing the ones I’m not interested in and sending some kind of communication to the ones I am, sometimes messages, sometimes just smiles. I’ve contacted more than 70 different matches and have not received so much as a return smile. It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s my fault either because of my pictures or the content in my profile, but they offer virtually no assistance in achieving success on their platform even if I were willing to pay for it. I honestly feel like playing the lottery with the money I spent would have been more rewarding just for the sheer excitement in contrast to basically reminding myself everyday that I can’t seem to get a date online no matter how much time and money I devote to it. Worse still, the demoralizing effect has had a measurably negative impact on my quality of life. I basically paid them for the privilege of developing a mild depression.

Subscription cancellation hassle

DanDan6806

I wasn’t happy with the app and wanted to cancel the subscriptions and ask for refund. According to the cancellation policy you may ask for refund in the first three days. Be aware that by stoping the next billing cycle you will not get a refund. So after talking to a costumer service they said for refund request you should contact iTunes and when I contacted iTunes they said you should call the app developer company!! So I spent an hour on the phone with costumer service to make them issue a refund and they said this time just as a curtsy will do this!! It bugged me because the policy said the subscription can be refunded in the first 3 days.
