Had to check based on reviews

Well, they were all right. I signed up for free, just to browse their interface etc. I didn’t sign up to pay, thank God. Crazy. This is not the eHarmony that’s been known for ages but now it’s basically another dating app, to be more exact, it shares the same concept as match. The questionnaire used to be thorough now it’s quick but you feel like it didn’t represent you as it did before. I’m sure they had many people lacking on taking the survey/questionnaire but the shortcut they’ve taken now speaks a huge level of quality drop. Those reviews speak the truth. Sad, I used to use this site on and off over the years and this, is completely not what they are known for. Their quality is not what it used to be. Also, their payment plans are ridiculous to say the least. Their promos are not really promos. 6 months is the minimum. You’re looking at over 200 dollars. Ludicrous for what they have to offer. What is wrong with eHarmony?! I’m sure the leaders are considering what they’ve done. They should, and should do something ASAP because the amount of negative reviews will keep going up. And that would finish their brand, what they ever were. Brand is everything there days. There’s a saying, you’re only as good as your last show. For everyone else, we’ll just have to find an alternative, and nowadays, it’s bound to happen sooner than never. Good luck!

Delete, delete, delete

Every time I go on eharmony, I just delete matches as they are not what I’m looking for. It’s like being on okcupid...except okcupid is free. I miss the old eharmony and wish they went back to the previous algorithm. I have stopped recommending this dating site to my friends. I used to think it was the best. Oh well.

One of the most expensive & also the worst

Sara_L_B_J

I took a chance one harmony and way over paid for their 6 month membership. It’s a complete joke, especially with the reputation it has. All of my matches are people I wouldn’t typically date and don’t align with my lifestyle. This site is more comparable to something like Plenty of Fish

Can’t match if there aren’t any paying users in your area

few active paying members

I tried out this app and found very few paying users in my area. You can match with non-members, but you can’t communicate with them. I also kept getting matched in other states. I’m sure if you are in a large city or are willing to move, this is a great app. For me, it was a waste of money.

Whack

Eptein

You can barely do anything unless you pay and if you do it’s like $200 cheapest so hell no

Greedy Developers

Nick s m

You are forced into paying money to control your distance and being able to find people in your area and can’t match or find profiles in your area without paying which is utterly ridiculous and infuriating because I’m not about to spend $400 on a dating app.

It’s terrible

PopNCountryMusic

I used eHarmony many years ago, and he was great. I am recently single so I signed up. It’s terrible. There’s no longer guided communication, and literally no one messages or communicates with you. Not kidding - I’ve been on it two weeks and not even one person has contacted me. Waste of money, and I won’t be renewing.

Useless app!!

Nideluhh

I understand trying to make money but you literally CANT DO ANYTHING WITH OUT PAYING. Not only that but it makes you pay upfront for 6 months (the cheapest plan) which amounts to $250!! Are you serious?? Deleted this app as soon as i knew i couldnt do anything and i refuse tonpay $250 to meet people when there are other apps i can do it for free

Small town

Compared to Match, there are only a fraction of participants.

Premium or nothing?

mrsmfinch

If you want to see ANY pics of your matches, you have to get Premium. Not even their profile pic is available. I appreciate being able to see all other aspects of their profile, but not being able to see any pics without a premium membership makes me not want to use this app. You also can only send one message to your match? That’s highly limiting any connection you may have with a potential match. It should also have a month to month option or at least a trial period. Most dating apps have a trial period, a week of premium, and a month to month option as well as a 3, 6, and year membership as well. But only having 6, 12, or 24 month option makes it harder to swallow the price. Those options also don’t provide much confidence in actually finding my match as quickly as advertised. And if I do find him quickly, I’m now stuck with the rest of the commitment of the membership. That’s where the smaller monthly options would be beneficial. Just my two cents.
