Broke a really good app

Bottom line: take your time and money elsewhere. I would not have subscribed if this was the app when I first joined. Terrible update. This newest “update” broke a tried and true app. It used to have a lot of control over who you matched with, but it now has less options than even the FREE apps out there. You can’t even filter out profiles without photos! Why do they even allow that? The new matching system is extremely confusing, especially if you’re looking for specific qualities. You used to get a percentage match on very specific qualities, but now you get a score ranging from 60 to 140, with some nebulous explanation as to what it means, and almost no information on what you should be looking for in a match for that characteristic. What does a communication style rating of 100 mean?!? Is that average, not good enough and needs improvement, or right in the sweet spot? What does a match’s score of 110 mean? Is that desirable or not? Bottom line: this is now worse than some of its direct competitors. I recommend going somewhere else where you have more control over your filters, and can actually understand the matching system. This has sunk down below the level of several free services on the market. Try H!ng3, Coff33MeetsB@gel, M@tch, Z00$k, or any of the other serious dating apps until they fix this tragedy.

The cheapest plan is $70 a month with a 6 month minimum. You can download the app and look around without filling much out, but you can’t sort by distance without subscribing. Read those two sentences again. You have to pay $420 before you can see if anyone is even within 100 miles of you. You’d have to be nuts fork that over. Go with literally any other app and you’d be better off. Don’t waste your time.

First of all, you can’t even see who you matched? Second of all, when you get sick of your account there is no way you can delete your profile in the app. You have to login online just to delete your profile. And even then I’m not even sure if it’s actually deleted.

This app is pretty much a scam! I got on and couldn't see what type of people were actually on the app unless I bought the premium subscription which I may add says month to month, doesn’t tell you it’s going to charge full price right off the bat! Pay more for real dating? Are you serious? I shouldn’t have to pay more then 20 bucks a month for a dating app let alone a yearly subscription that pretty much scams you out of 350 buck immediately!

I made an account only to find out that I can’t see anything without paying premium. I wish there was a trial period or monthly. I don’t want to pay $50+ only to find out there’s no matches.

This app displays only a few matches at a time, it is impossible to quickly and efficiently delete non-matches, there is no way to screen out matches with out photos easily. Deleting non photo matches is time consuming and slow..I had contacted Eharmony and they have little understanding.. BUYER BEWARE

I just joined and I can’t continue, because the questions are ridiculous. None of th answers for any of the first three questions are acceptable. Change the questions or let me ask my own. Otherwise, you aren’t getting my money.

The only thing I don’t understand is why the hell does it have to be $300 and more just to have premium. That’s not worth it. Where a week trail or a month trail but goddam straight to 6 months to deka years. This is crazy not worth it at all. Don’t even bother to make a account. Makes you spend half a hour to create a profile to the point where they want to charge you $300 and more. Wackkkk

Through the app it states that a six month membership is $41.66 per month. Then eHarmony sends you an offer via email for “50% Off” membership. Quite the joke indeed because when you click the link...ummm yah...50% off of only THREE months no matter if you choose a 6, 12 or 24 month membership. Helloooo, that’s actually 25% off a six month plan but nice try eHarmony. Hold up, wwwwait there’s more! The six month eHarmony plan that is $41.66/monthly via the app is, for some odd reason, bumped up to $45.90...with that ridiculous “50% Off Discount.” That’s not to mention the additional outlandish fees once you actually become a member. I’m sure you can see where this is going... essentially Harmony likes to play some serious bulls**t games right out the gate. Additionally, they offer a “free” membership but you’re unable to see any photos. You get only ONE message from or to members...so you feel like a jerk for not responding back. And Oohhh Lordy! Do not write the word “member” in your reply otherwise your message will not send...evidently they do not want you to share that you are a non-member. Definitely read the other negative reviews in order to get the full understanding of how they scam people. I definitely do not recommend that you waste your time, energy and money on this absurd app!
