Lightyears ahead of the competition

Huxley Dunsany

I have been using Apple airport base stations for well over a decade, but now that Apple is phasing out that product line I knew it was time for something different. I purchased a top-of-the-line Netgear router + extender unit, and enjoyed months of spotty coverage, frequent network drops, and UI's so hilariously poor that I often wondered if I was being pranked. Finally, I dumped all that gear and bought an Eero 2.0 set, and I just could not be happier. Gorgeous hardware design paired with a beautiful iOS app, and blazing fast Wi-Fi throughout my apartment. Just fantastic stuff, and so far beyond the competition that it blows my mind. Well done Eero!

Still no iPad version, but fine otherwise

Bo Ru

The app is pretty simple and clean. One feature missing is the ability to see all devices connected to a particular eero. Instead I have to check each device individually. Minor quibble: the latest version uses a light teal color for some text that's harder to read than the former blue. Also, it would be nice to have a native iPad version.

Current Version broke for me

Elgrosven

My isp modem/router is working and eero is not. The app says it is the ISP but it is not. Please fix.

last update has a bug

ditik9

it logged me out of my devices and is trying to sell me new stuff - no way for me to see my current network

Terrible New App

KDKOENIG

Do not download this app. It's terrible. I can't believe they released this without doing testing. Both networks I use Eero for say no devices connected when I have phones, lights and other things obviously connected and using data/connection. This app is completely useless. It doesn't do anything.

Very Satified

Never had any issues with his app.

Where's the iPad app?!?

App works great on the iPhone, but it'd be great to have an iPad app. We use iPad minis around the house as our home automation controllers, but unfortunately we can't control our wifi network from them. This is a minor annoyance.

Great mesh network. One annoying bug in app.

LasOakland

The network was easy to set up and solved our wifi problems! The app has an annoying bug though: the list of connected devices randomly changes from "no connected devices" to the proper list, then back to "no connected devices"-- not just when the view loads, but as you're looking at it. Very annoying.

Fantastic companion to fantastic hardware

I absolutely love the Eero system, for a long time I've had terrible reception in my apartment due to the layout of the rooms. Now the entire place has excellent reception with nearly the same speed as a wired connection. The app is also awesome. I'm not sure why there have been so many negative reviews, but I haven't had any issues and I love being able to manage my home network from anywhere. The interface is nice and clean, and you can access all the advanced network options from your phone. The speed test function is also nice since I know that's the speed that's coming directly into the router from the ONT. Keep up the great work!

No universal binary

It's just stacking cans

Where's the iPad app? No excuse in 2017 for not shipping this with a premium product. Main interface font is too thin and hard to read on the phone - style over substance. Functionality for managing the mesh network is good for what I need. (some I don't use - my eeros are in bridge mode behind a untangle NG)
