Can't steam to ChromeCast. Have to use the bottom iOS menu to stream from app.

I love Synology, but... When you choose english subs, all good. When you choose other language, it does NOT display anything!!! And it does not support .mkv movies. Very "picky" application!!! Needs more effort

Apple TV streaming not working

4-7-17 update. i haven't updated the app and it stopped recognizing my apple tv. i've restarted everything and still no connection. yes it's in the same wifi. anyone else?

Would like to see the go back fast forward feature added to the AppleTv App. Such as it works with iTunes and other apps. Also would like to see the ability to search for movies outside of the app.

I watch all of my tv shows and movies on my cell phone on my lunch breaks, my samsung tv using the ds video app, and on windows 10 pc's that also use the ds app. It work great on everything.

Not expected from synology

There are no DTS/AC3 support. And, app gives me port errors every time I try to play(HINT: foward every port DS video uses). It's so against Synology's easy to use UI.

INSECURE: Play over HTTP setting missing

I use HTTPS and a signed certificate on my Rackstation. There’s no option on the Apple TV version to turn off “Play over HTTP” like exists on the iPad and iPhone version. I’m not sending my credentials over the Internet in clear text! This missing setting makes the application worthless because you can’t play videos securely.

No longer saves position between playback

At some point, this app lost the ability to remember what playback point the viewer had reached during playback and then recall it next time. Which is a shame!, that was a great feature, I hope someone figures out where it went.

Plays most videos

What this doesn't play infuse can. With these two I can play everything. I like how it downloads information on the movies I own.
