Horrible

The app is very inconsistent. It will not work at all. Each time I launch the app it gives me something new that's wrong. Either the SD card won't register or my flight points don't work. Whatever it is, this app is useless.
I'm stunned how easy DroneDeploy was to use!

DroneDeploy is definitely the best autonomous capture app out there. I've tried MapsMadeEasy, Skycatch, and Pix4D but they are all pretty clunkly to use and I ran into all kinds of problems with uploading missions, picture overlap, and defining your project area... It's also awesome how seemlessly it integrates with their data processing service. My orthos and 3D models came back fast and the ground truth was pretty spot on, even for the 15cm per pixel service (WHICH IS FREE!). Would highly recommend giving them a try.

The drone deploy app is very unstable. It crashes regularly. When naming projects the text flashes in and out. It's a cool app, but it doesn't work well at all

I lost my DJI Phantom 4 because of this product. I loaded the last mission onto the drone in an area over land next to water, launced it, and when the batterie got low, I did what I did before and put my controller where it worked before from P to S and attempted to manually fly my drone back to me. The drone was unrsponsive, and continued it's mission, I then pressed the home button on my drone and the drone was still unresponsive. I cycled from S to P and hit the home button but nothing worked. The drone is supposed to automaticly return back to home point at 10% which I set prior to launching the drone and the drone did not return. I contacted Drone deploy for assistance to gain solution as to verify last known location before battery died and they have not responded. This is a very expensive glitch from Drone Deploy, if you value your drone do not use this product and seek other solutions for Drone mapping projects.

Easiest mapping software on the market hands down (have tried nearly all of them). Constantly amazed by what I can do these days with my Phantom 4.

I have only one major complaint. I do not like the side menu panel set up. It covers the map way too much. If I want my flight path to be fairly accurate I have to sit around fumbling with the degrees then keep toggling back and forth between two screens. Need to have it set so you see the changes as your making them. Suggest another tap tool like the area tool but also for the fine tune of flight path it self along with the degrees. All other settings work fine in a side menu as there not really essential to a visual.
An expensive service for anyone not commercial

Woah! A little warning that this is a subscription service with a price tag approaching the price of a prosumer drone would be good. This is not an enthusiast application unless you have an extra $1k a year to drop on having a little fun.
