Business Subscription fails to live up to expectations

Our company uses the Business subscription. While it gives excellent results when it works, it fails to deliver time and time again. Too many issues to list: Unresponsive app screens Failing to initialize during preflight or taking much too long Taking off and not taking photos Not following route After continuing a flight between battery changes, it will start from the beginning. Not sure what happened because when we first purchased this everything was fine. However it now gives us issues very frequently. At the price point, $249 per month this is too much to deem acceptable. We will look at other options.
Progress report feature missing?

The update says the point-of-interest in Progress Report mapping may be moved around and affect camera angles but there doesn’t seem to be an obvious way to see the POI nor move it around.

Drone Deploy is my preferred aerial solution. It always performs well and is always the right program for my aerial missions. I have been very satisfied and have no regrets about buying the app. It is very versatile and has many other apps inside making it a powerful tool. Five stars in my book!

We’ve been using Drone Deploy for over a year now and have been impressed with the progress. Support staff is actively looking to improve the product. Value for the money it’s impossible to beat for commercial construction and I presume agriculture. Keep up the good work guys.
Menu won’t get out of the way?!

I went out two days ago to a fairly populated area and used the app w no problem. Today, I was out in an area with just 1 3G bar. (I say this because reduced service is the only difference I could see) and today, the menu wouldn’t get out of the way!!!! The little arrow on the menu would switch directions but not disappear. Thankfully I had an iPad handy and although clunky was able to get the jobs done today. Normally love this app but this problem will reduce the likelihood of others in my business using the app.

Very nicely done but outrageously expensive. In the past, my agency would utilize Google Earth and Litchi to build gridded search patterns when looking for “something” (law enforcement search and rescue). Drone Deploy solved the issue of having to export KML files from Google Earth but that small step comes at a HUGE price. The cost is too high for the simplicity that it provides. Looking forward to a huge price reduction then we’ll be interested in a subscription. Until then, we’ll use Litchi and Google Earth.

This app works great! It is way better than Pix4D’s automated flight program and doesn’t crash drones like Pix4D has! The best part is you can pick up where you left off if you have to change batteries or something goes wrong during the flight! Great app!
