We’ve been using this app since it was in beta testing. Not only is the app incredible, but the support team is quick and responsive. This app has added some great features (including support for the Inspire 1 Pro) and is exactly what we need to satisfy our clients needs. Highly recommend this app for anyone looking to do mapping with your drone.

Drone Deploy has done great R&D to develop a surveying app that is second to none, and they offer superlative customer support. This is the "go to" app if you're serious about orthomosiac, volumetric, 3D, and agricultural NDVI surveying. I was a beta tester and I'm very impressed with their ability to work through and fix bugs quickly and efficiently. This app will revolutionize mapping and surveying!

Ok, so I notice it gets terrible reviews, until Feb. 11 2016, then there are like 5-6 reviews, so nobody downloads this app until then, suddenly they all decide to leave a review, a stellar review to top it off, sorry this stinks of fraud, just because of this, it gets two stars. Prove me wrong, I'll delete, or even better, I'll upgrade the review, until then I'm not putting my $1000 quad in the hands of what reads like ppl trying to scam the system. I'd like to be wrong and this work, but I cannot trust it when I see this type of character action in the review section. Maybe I am mistaken, it's not like it's expensive, it's just the dates....

I have been working with the DroneDeploy team for a year as a beta tester and speak from experience when I say they have outdone themselves with this iOS app! I manage a civil engineering firm that requires reliable and accurate mapping solutions for our design process and can say with confidence that we will continue using DroneDeploy far into the future. Always stay current with firmware and app updates and you won’t have any issues. The development team is constantly working on and adding new features that increase efficiency and user friendliness. Great work guys!
Fabulous, but a bit scary

Turning your $1K drone over to a new app is a bit scary, especially when it flies off at 30 mph. But drone deploy flew the area I designated precisely... and quickly! I was reassured by the automated preflight checklist, and amazed at the 3D model of my neighborhood that it produced from the images from that first flight. If you want a 3D map of an area, this is the app for your Phantom. It's also fun once you get over the initial panic!

I haven't mapped on the update yet, but it's clear that the app got a major upgrade. Being able to look at maps and have functionality through a phone is great.

I've spent years struggling to find a simple, intuitive, fast, and reliable Autopilot system. Finally, someone has reduced the headache of planning and stitching areal imagery. This app is a must for anyone looking to capture valuable Ag data, build 3D models, or track construction progress. It just works. Everytime There are minimal learning curves and the app hasn't failed on me yet. Great App! I only wish I had more flight-time, on the P3, to push DroneDeploy to it's full-potential.

Have been using DroneDeploy for a while very successfully, but this new app is their best yet. I use drones in my business and DroneDeploy makes it dead simple to get value out of my Phantom. And their support is amazing!
