Needs more features

Overall the app is good for checking schedule and reviewing notes, but I wish I could access messages like iPad app does. It seems I need to carry around an iPad when I travel because iPhone app doesn’t have messaging. Also refills are cumbersome to do with the app. Overall it’s a bit useless without ability to check messages

AVOID THIS COMPANY

DrBob1983

This company is awful in all the most important ways. The software itself is tedious and takes way more time than they put on to do notes. Their customer service is also horrendous. My company has literally waited over 6 months for answers to problems. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

Wrong again for years never fixed, I am not a doctor

GnnBroadcasting

What a mess that you still cannot fixed, stop sending me emails referring that I am a doctor and no free app will be charges, deleted and sent unsubscribed for years. Do not have your app on newer iPad Pro and never wanted or downloaded this scam must stop, not a customer , never ordereded and not ever downloaded, but was told by Apple my I’d was compromised that was fixed, but you need to stop Harasing me by false statements claiming I am a doctor. Or legal actions will follow to stop and desist as still unsubscribes fails and still getting emails after blocking you is unacceptable to any users of your I downloaded app.

Using for four years. Very happy. Busy practice keeps up well.

Useless app

kitastrophe

You can’t read or send messages in it, refilling meds requires you to retype the whole order, and you can’t put breaks into your schedule from the app. But you can pull out your cellphone and chart a visit, as long as you don’t chart too much narrative. It doesn’t render in a way that allows you to read it.

Not impressed

Taybabby63

I submitted a request that the app keeps crashing - with yet a fix. Spend a little more money on a software, you will actually get what you pay for.

Cannot be accessed by 2 people at a time

This is a major issue for me with the software. If I am inside the EMR , what I am entering will not be saved if another staff member is into the patient’s EMR. This is an issue as a lot of time and effort is used to enter data and it would be nice if like in epic, you can have assistant , biller and you be on the same patient and have all our input be saved. The good part is it is easily customizable.

Read Before You Buy

PsychProvider

I have used this app for over 5 years to complete all my clinical notes at our practice. Last year we encountered an issue where – over time – a clinical note with the same digital signature and same time stamp had different clinical data. These notes were shared outside our office to other professionals and to the patients before we caught the data issue. The best analogy I can come up with is to imagine you are buying a house and you sign your contract online. Subsequently, the realtor calls and says the computer program generated two different contracts with your exact same digital signature. Now apply this scenario to medical data. Drchrono’s response was nothing less than abhorrent. They admitted on our first call with their first of at least three attorneys that other practices were impacted. They repeatedly started most conversations with some form of statement that they were not responsible to fix data problems per the service agreement. After one-year and almost $80,000 in legal bills we got our notes corrected as best our legal team thought possible per CMS guidelines. We added an amendment to each corrupt note and notified all patients. In retaliation for not signing an agreement to not report the problem to the OCR, drchrono gave us 30-day’s notice and shut off our service. All I can recommend is to read the service agreement. It is egregious and they really mean it when they say there is no warranty that “ANY ERRORS IN THE SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED.” Second, make sure you have a data integrity rider in your malpractice policy. Choosing an EMR is one of the most difficult decisions to make for a medical practice. Using this app literally cost tens of thousands of dollars in legal bills and hundreds (and I mean hundreds) of additional hours beyond the typical 12-hour days. If you happen to be reading this and are a current drchrono user, I would suggest you contact drchrono and ask if your notes were impacted or altered in any way without your knowledge.

Poor customer support

Gsnapper

I have never left a 1 Star review before. There is no number to call when you need support, they lock you into contracts that automatically renew for a full year (month to month is not an option, even if you have the employee just for another month) and putting contracts on hold until you hire another doctor is not an option. Have been having an issue that’s been unresolved and apparently they’re understaffed. Won’t be renewing when this contract is up despite of the difficulty of switching EHR systems.
