Poor insight into clinical awareness

Have been using this app begrudgingly and the straw that broke the camels back was the most recent update. They quietly updated the app without telling us providers that patients could now look at their clinical notes. As a provider the ability to not filter what clinical notes clients can see shows disregard for the exact consumers the product is marketed to. And to not give providers, outside of a blog update, the heads up that they must turn off note visibility shows poor ethical practices. They need to think clinically if they are going to make a clinical app.

I have been using DrChrono (Apollo Plan) for over 5 years for my two busy naturopathic practices (much like a PCP/GP). DrChrono markedly improves my efficiency and productivity. It makes my job so much more enjoyable by making it easier to take great care of my patients. My favorite features are the customizable chart note templates, integrated LabCorp and Quest Diagnostic labs, faxes, eRx, and referrals feature. The Live Claim Feed works wonderfully for my biller and helps her keep track of insurance claims and payment status. Over the years, I have seen great improvements in features, speed, reliability and customer support. Regular updates expand functionality in relevant ways and bugs are addressed in a timely fashion. DrChrono has been wonderful and essential to my practice. Thank you!

Company uses false advertising.

I’ve used the free version and it’s pretty limited. I received a post card stating that they would give me a free Echo dot if I spent over an hour on a call with a representative about the full version. So I did it, but didn’t join to see if they’d follow through and send the dot. They told me on 3 separate calls that the advertising or some other dept would get that out to me, but I needed to hurry and join to get a special deal. Needless to say they never did follow through and send me the dot. Not the kind of company I want storing my pt information.

Lake many other EMR’s there are improvements needed constantly. But in my opinion this has been a very user friendly one for us. If the price is right for the doctor, I highly recommend this.

Tried the program to see if I could write a put OV visit exam etc. no luck doing that. The video likewise painfull to watch. These programs are made by non MDs no clue about how important it is to say the most with min wording for an EM eval.basically they are trying to have us to fit their software than the other way around

We love this total system Billing, Scheduling, and EMR. Productivity has improved and my notes don’t take as long to do. EMR is customizable and fairly easy to learn. Chrono team does a good job.

I have been a Drchrono user since 2012. They have come a long way. The app has improved by leaps and bounds. I emphasize the app because the beauty of this EHR is in the IPad and IPhone apps. My work flows beautifully. I can document easily with my attention never wavering from the patient. I can dictate when I want to which works wonderfully. The support is great and responsive as well. I used to have a dinosaur system for my office which I have since buried. Sign up with drchrono. You won’t regret it.

I have been with and using DrChrono for about 6 years now. They are always improving. It is a nice system that can be used multi-disciplinary. I am a chiropractor an I used it with a a medical Nurse Practitioner. What initially appealed to me is there was no multi thousand dollar up front software like a lot of other EHR companies want to charge you, along with yearly upgrade fees. None of that here so you start off saving thousands.
