Order cancelled and already took my money

This is the second time I have had issues with DoorDash. The eatery cancelled my order because DoorDash takes the money and has to pay the establishment(3rd party) the establishment told me that DoorDash neglects to send them the money and the driver gets there and they have no payment. So they cancel DoorDash orders. Problem is - DoorDash already takes the funds from their consumers account and takes 5-7 business days to refund. You really need to improve your services or you are going to lose customers. I’m done with DoorDash! Also pay attention to the costs. Not only do they charge a delivery charge, your charged a service fee and the menu items are over priced by appx 2 dollars each.

Love how this app that charges you for your order but doesn’t put an order through if you’re not at the billing address of your credit card. So basically, don’t use this app if you plan on eating anywhere but one address. Terrible...

So I referred two friends to DoorDash. They both have bought something and I’m supposed to receive the $10/referral but I didn’t. Although.... one of my friends did get a $10 credit into their account. So COOL, I thought it was fine. We ordered through his phone, 3 munchie meal from Jack in the Box. Total was $22 and we checked out using the $10 credit and my debit card. I check my bank account a day later, it charged me $22 on my card and he lost the $10 credit..... two more days passed and I still get no reimbursement, NOTHING. I’m not tryna to sound petty over $10 but if you’re going to offer credit to customers, at least make sure it works instead of just “scamming” us...... 1 Star, wouldn’t recommend.

After all this time, there still isn’t a iPad-optimized version of this app. The developers haven’t even bothered to bundle an iPad icon for the iPhone app, so when you run the iPhone version on an iPad you get the default blank-with-lines icon. Sad! Whether you run this on iPad or iPhone, the app times out more and more often, getting stuck on ghost images when loading a menu page. More and more I find myself using better-crafted apps, like UberEATS. Even after their “big rebrand”, still no iPad icon! Plenty of time for a fancy opening animation though!

This app is exactly what it claims to be. It allows you to order food online and have it delivered. Has my food always been great? No. But that is not the apps fault, it’s the restaurant. I haven’t had a single issue, with the app or the drivers. I really like it.

What’s not to love?

I’ve been ordering from DoorDash for almost a year now. It’s a quick food service, orders arrive in around 30-1 hour depending on tour area. Whenever I have issues or problems with my delivery, I just message them on twitter and they’re quick to solve it. Lately, it’s gotten a little expensive so I don’t use it as daily as I use to, but other than that, DoorDash is the best. I love everything about it.

The app doesn’t work

The app just doesn’t work it allows me to create an account but it refuses to load the local restaurants in the area. Really wanted to try it out but the app is unusable.
